First off let me start by saying that I normally do not take the time to give a review on hotel stays. Part of the reason is because my family and i stay in hotels quite often and most of them have really not been memorable enough to give a review. Just the fact that I am writing this review is a miracle, so it is going to be a long one cause I would like to tell everyone about what an OUTSTANDING experience my family recently encountered. We always try to book in advance online. One of the things we look at when choosing is not only the price value, but we look at the reviews and ratings. The reason we were going to "The Valley" is to visit a family member in a Harlingen Hospital. We searched all of Harlingen but honestly couldnt find one we all agreed upon until we came across the La Quinta in Raymondville. We decided to give it a try because of the nice things people had written about the staff and the rooms. Upon our arrival we immediately all commented on the awesome building itself that we could see from the freeway. I know this may sound weird but even the parking lot was clean and inviting. We walked in and were greeted by Cisco. He not only helped us check in, but he went out of his way to get us the phone number to a local restaurant so we could order some dinner. He made sure to answer all our questions before heading off to our room. We were already feeling like we made a good choice in regards to the hotel. The lobby was immaculate, but that was only the beginning... we got to the room and were surprised by how spacious, clean and fresh the rooms were. Believe me... we have stayed in many so called "5 star" hotels... but this hotel beat them all hands down. The pool was great for the kids but what i loved the most was the easy access to the pool from the rooms without having to go thru the main lobby. When Cisco found out that we were using the pool he made sure that we had enough towels without even asking. The next morning my family and i were commenting on how quiet it was because we couldnt hear the usual people walking up and down the halls all night or the people on top of us or next to us. We actually thought there were not many people staying at the hotel because it was so quiet. At least not until we got up to go have breakfast... thats when we saw everyone. It was at breakfast that we met another staff member, Neil. We could see he was busy checking people out of the hotel, but as soon as he had the chance he came to make sure we all had plenty to eat for breakfast. One of the guests even came a bit after the posted hours of the breakfast, however, Neil still made sure she was able to eat something hot and not just cold cereal. Neil was just as courteous and friendly as Cisco was the night before. These two gentlemen showed the best customer service that i have seen from hotel staff in a long time. They were not just knowlegeable about the hotel itself... but also knew about the surrounding areas and what stores and restaurants were available to us. I must commend Neil and Cisco and the rest of the staff for making us feel comfortable. I also recommend that everyone stay at this La Quinta Inn & Suites in Raymondville... You will remember it for life.

Great place to stay!!! ANGELA is wonderful! She made sure we were taken care of and our needs were met! ALL the staff was wonderful! Will always continue to stay here. Note: town closes up around 8pm.... After that-fast food only.

I have stayed at many La Quinta Inns & Suites and none have compared to this one. Very clean, modern, luxury linens and comfortable bed. Neal was very friendly and helpful throughout the reservation and checkout process. We definitely will stay at this hotel again when in Raymondville.

Angela and Robert were very helpful at the front desk. The hotel was very clean and the rooms very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to any one visiting the area. I will go back. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless. I have stayed in alot of hotels and they always have a smell. This hotel smelled very clean and in fact was.

Just returned from a family wedding in Raymondville. Neil the Manager and the entire staff are very courteous and attentive to your every need. This has to be one of the cleanest and most comfortable hotel's we've ever stayed in. The rooms are spacious and fully equipped with microwave and refrigerator not to mention the very comfortable bed. If you are looking for a great place to stay at very reasonable rates this is it.
