Most La Quinta's are very good and a very good value. This one is somewhat head and shoulders above the others in the chain as is the La Quinta in Eugene, OR, another excellent place to stay.
I had an emergency very late one night in early June, 2013, and needed a place to stay. I hoped they would have a room. They did and it was no problem at all. The night clerk was most helpful as was his replacement the next morning. I stayed on the ground floor and found it very quiet. No noise from above or on either side or street.
Breakfast was fairly standard with the exception of the Starbucks coffee machine.
I'd stay here again and highly recommend this La Quinta to anyone traveling and needing a place to stay in west Houston.
While I did not think the hotel price I got was a good deal, it was probably in line with pricing for that particular time in May due to many activities and events going on in Houston at that time.
Positive: Room was clean and the staff was courteous.
Negative: My room seemed dark. Maybe it was the particular room I got but I just never seemed to get enough light when I was trying to get some work done in my room, even with all the lights on. Breakfast I would say was not up to par with other similarly-priced hotels where I have stayed in Houston.
I'd say my stay was ok, nothing to really complain about, but I wouldn't necessarily rush out to recommend this location.
I enjoyed my stay at the LaQuinta Inn and Suites! Very nice area, it was somewhat secluded, due to all the places in walking distance and that was a great save on gas!!! The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs, including giving maps and directions to various areas! The price was awesome for the Double Queen Bed Deluxe that we stayed in.....and very, very clean might I add!!!! Breakfast was also included and that was a great deal and very convenient. We would have loved to enjoy the pool but the water was pretty cold (heated pool recommended). Overall, it was a very peaceful stay and I would love to return!
I love this hotel....... Im jus hopin dat I can keep goin to the room so i can earn my rewards. the rooms were clean.... I wanted to stay for a week but da nightly value is jus too High..... ima keep goin bacc. I enjoyed my over night stay..
This is a great hotel. Looks brand new. Very large rooms with excellent desk and wireless internet. Starbucks coffee and snacks, hot breakfast, simple workout room and great staff. Highly recommend. Also, a ton of places to eat within a mile radius.
