The hotel is located half way between our home in the north and Florida. We travel with our dog so we are happy they allow dogs. The hotel is located in a nice area close to other services and the college. Dalton is a charming town.
First time at a LaQuinta Inn. We received a great rate and were so surprised to find such a beautiful hotel. The room was clean. The beds and pillows are oh so comfortable. The climate control worked great. Bathroom was very clean. You can't beat their breakfast, which is included...so many yummy things to chose from...will return.
Love everything about the hotel. It is located a little out of the way and you might have to ask for directions. Checking website or having a recent LaQuinta book is helpful and the directions in the book re easy to understand. Hotel is A+ for cost and acomodations + they accept pets.
Stopped for the night on a trip south. Hotel was clean but I have been in better modest priced hotels. Generally quiet and we faced the front of the building. Breakfast was OK but nothing special. Would I stay again, probably. Just not as high on this property as some of the other reviewers.
We stayed in Dalton on 4/29 on our way to FL to visit family. We travel with our cocker spaniel and we really felt welcome there. There were many dogs there that night and it was so quiet you would never have known there were any dogs at all staying there that night. We had a king room on the parking lot side of the hotel and there was no road noise. The room was clean, the price was right and the location was great. The only complaint I have is the breakfast..the english muffin I had tasted moldy and sour, and the plates they had fresh fruit pieces stacked on looked dirty. Other than that, it was a great stay. No perfumey smell like so many pet friendly facilities. We will make this our go to place on our way south..
