Enjoyed my stay here. Great service, room as expected, delicious breakfast in the morning. In, out and on my way with no stress caused by a hotel stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I did think the room could use some spring cleaning- there was a little dirt around the baseboards and some normal wear and tear spots needed repairing. But this was nothing that ruined our stay- it was merely caught by my discerning eye.

moving my daughter from ohio to georgia, stayed 1 night, was able to make reservation over the phone on the road, went with this one because of other tripadvisors, room clean, staff very friendly and helpful, heater did not work in room and I am sure they would have moved us, but we were all so tired that we didn't care, bkfast was good, room clean and quite,pool/spa great and they take pets, easy to get to from the interstate, but far enough away did not hear it.

The staff was wonderful. Our room was very clean and fairly quiet, however it was a little smaller than normal. We had two queen beds and the efficient furniture arrangement works for two people, however a family of four would constantly be in each others way. Cookies in the lobby are a nice touch and greatly appreciated after dinner. You best dining options are about 5 miles away on Man O War Blvd. Our only complaint was not being able to get a non smoking room on the top floor despite booking 9 months in advance for a mid week 3 nite stay. It can get noisy when a heavy walker makes their way home from the Spearmint Rhino at 3:am

This is a very clean hotel. We stay here on our trips back and forth to Florida. I would give this hotel a 5 but they do not use quality linens-neither towels nor sheets. They have beautiful tall mattresses but use sheets that do not fit. This seems to be the standard for La Quinta hotels. Need to up grade sheets or get corner fasteners. Also they had only two luggage carriers for whole hotel. Not enough. The breakfast is ok but agree with other remarks that attendant is not friendly. We always stay on third floor in non-smoking rooms. They are spacious and very nice with king beds. Always super clean. Would highly recommend this hotel.

We have stayed at this hotel many times as our daughter was a student at UK. We always travel with our 2 dogs so we stay with LaQuinta often. This particular one is perfect for dogs. There is a nice road to the back of the hotel property that is beautiful and quiet. The rooms are very nice, particularly the executive kings and service is superb. Recently we were going for 2 stays, one weekend followed by the next weekend for UK graduation. I booked the second a year in advance since I knew it was Derby weekend and graduation. The first weekend I forgot to reserve a room until the week before and found out there were no rooms left. I called the hotel and Susan (the manager) said she has a couple of rooms in reserve and was able to get us one. She saved the day! This was the first time we stayed in an Executive King and discovered how wonderful they are. I asked to change our following weekend reservation to that room type. We were told that Friday, Sunday-Monday were available but Saturday night was not. We opted to start in the King hoping something would open up on Saturday. Michelle did her magic and got us the room on Saturday so we did not have to change rooms. The staff are truly amazing and go far beyond to help clients out in any way possible. The hotel is also clean and fairly new so I would recommend this hotel to anyone, as we are pretty picky.
