"Excellent choice for easy I-5 access"

Nothing overly special here except a clean room with a decent morning breakfast bar. It was a full night when we stopped, but were greeted quickly by the front desk and had a very pleasant stay. It is a bit up from the city center but if you needed a room close to I-5 and don't mind driving, it is a great hotel choice. I would definitely stay here again.

"Wonderful!"
5 of 5 stars Reviewed Aug 24, 2014

Starting with the lobby, it is clean, there is a water/coffee station available 24/7, the hotel staff is incredibly friendly. The pool: A little small, a little cold, no hot tub or sauna. The front desk has towels available specifically for the pool area so you don't need to use your room towels. The pool area I feel is really geared toward families and kids. The room: Wow! So much comfort! The pillows seem to be firm and fluffy at the same time, and you get plenty of them! The blankets are soft and heavy. The sheets are wonderful. No scratchiness to be found. The bathroom is a little small, some maneuvering to get in and out, as the outward-curved shower bar keeps the door from fully opening. The fridge and microwave come in handy. Breakfast: This is the best hotel breakfast I've had since staying outside the United States. Biscuits and gravy, hard boiled eggs, sausages, yogurt made without HFCS, gluten-free options, fresh and frozen fruits, waffle maker, good juice, great coffee, cereal and milk. Amazing! The area: This is close to plenty of dining, shopping, and grocery options. It's 20 minutes from the airport. It's 15 minutes from Lewisville Park. Near Portland. If you're familiar with the Vancouver area, this is a short drive to a ton of locally owned restaurants and coffee shops. This was, overall, one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had.

Stay 1-2 times year for a three day shopping getaway. Good location, good value for the $, breakfast included, and overall very quiet. Several restaurant choices in the area and next door to Portland for shopping.
