We stayed here June 12-14, 2013. We were very worried when we got there and saw several pets at the hotel, however this one is very nice and clean, fresh smelling, and the entire staff was very polite and helpful in every way. The front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast staff were all excellent and attended to us on a one-on-one basis, despite the fact that the hotel was packed that weekend. They went so far as to offer to dry our wet swimming clothes, and called to check on a late pizza delivery order for me. Superb for the price!
My husband and I were in Bowling Green, KY to check-out apartments and townhouses. I love the La Quinta hotels and found this was the only one in Bowling Green, KY. I was very pleased by the overall atmosphere of this hotel, friendliness of staff, room quality, etc. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
We had just one last night to spend on the road.....a 3,000 mile trip....and we chose this stop-over before the final leg home to Indiana.
The room was clean, well-appointed, the bed comfy, good bathroom...........breakfast very adequate and we were totally satisfied.
We travel with our small Chihuahua, Cupcake, and LQ does it right for the furry family members.
The first room we were given had a very obvious "wet spot" in the middle of the bed. My husband promptly visited the front desk to let them know. The gave us another room... the second room had some sort of crumbs under the pillows. We left this La Quinta, drove down the road and ended up staying at the Drury Inn. The employees at the Drury Inn apologized for our bad experience at the La Quinta more than the La Quinta folks did! The employee at the front desk of the La Quinta didn't seem to think it was that big of a deal... When we arrive at a hotel to stay, we pull the comforter off the bed and check under the sheets for signs of bed bugs and cleanliness. We didn't have to look far in either of these rooms to find that the sheets weren't even changed. Ew.
I have stayed here 5 times between Feb. and May 2013. Each time I have been with a different family member or friend and each stay has been great! I always look for LaQuintas because they are dog friendly. All of my stays at this hotel have been wonderful and my dogs have enjoyed it as much as I have! The staff are courteous and helpful, the rooms are spacious and nicely arranged. Will be staying here again!
