It's the newest hotel in Rome. It accepts pets but still very clean. the service was very good even if it was a busy week-end with a big Tennis tournament. Beds and carpet still clean. I recommend it.
Cons: The pool is a bit small, and breakfast area small too.
Comfort Suites is 50 meters from La Quinta and is better (pricer too).
I came to the area for family and needed some where to stay that allowed pets. This hotel accepts pets and does not charge a fee. Also, the beds were so comfortable that I almost overslept. Oh year, the shower was very massaging and calming. Needless to say this is home for us. I felt like a new person when I woke up.
The smell of cleaning products when we entered was overwhelming. I have asthma and literally had to hold my breath and walk back outside to breathe. We hoped the chemical fumes would be less apparent in the room but ended up having to check out and go to another hotel. Suffered a miserable attack that lasted for two days. Avoid if you have any type of breathing issues!
I stayed here this past weekend not knowing that they were hit hard by storms. The hotel was full and my room had no air conditioning. The management was able to switch me room with another guest who's room was to cool.
Steve at the front desk was real helpful. Booked it thru priceline for 46per night.
Breakfast was ok for free.
Very comfortable, large room. Very clean. Bathroom was a tad small and dated. Stayed on first floor, wi-fi was very good, no gaps. Desk clerks were very friendly and helpful. Took along our two dogs, it is great that pets stay free in La Quintas. Did not make use of breakfast. Overall would stay here again when in the area. The La Quinta website implies that there are numerous fast food restaurants nearby, unfortunately they are 1-2 miles away.
