We have been on a long road trip from the Rio Grande Valley of Texas to Madison, Wisconsin. We have stayed in LaQuinta along the way and have once again, been so happy. There is nothing about this hotel that you change. It sure helps a long trip go just a little better when you feel so welcome and so well taken care of.
The room was very smelly and dirty. Ants where crawling on the sink and the bed. The bathroom is tiny with stains on the floor and tub. On the positive side, the price was very reasonable and the location is good. Cracker Barrel is within walking distance. Overall, avoid this one
I recently started to travel to the Bloomington area for work and stayed elsewhere the first time and was disappointed in general,i then tried la quinta and it was a pleasant stay with very comfortable beds.
We found this La Quinta in a publication called "HotelCoupons.com" that we picked up at an Illinois rest stop. It was only $78.00 with taxes for our family of four. We were first put next to a pretty noisy group so they kindly changed our room. The room was clean and updated. Breakfast adequate (no fruit or yogurt), but really the staff made this a memorable stop and we would stay again. Apparently it is very pet friendly.
