We stayed two nights here. The first night we got in late and just went to bed. Next morning we realized the room had a very distinct odor. Not surprising since this is a pet friendly hotel - we saw several dogs around the property during our stay. I went downstairs and asked for another room and the friendly staff gave it to me no questions asked and also gave me a slight discount. That's great service. The Wifi is as fast as any hotel I've ever stayed in. They also have laundry facilities available for use. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Shower worked fine. Check in and check out smooth. Breakfast was not good, even by motel standards. So overall it got the job done for a reasonable value. It's a new property on the far west edge of Stillwater, where there are a lot of options. If you stay, make sure to smell your room before you unpack your bags....
We always try to stay at this hotel when we are in Stillwater. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean. The only issue we had, were some loud guests upstairs, which the staff did their best to quiet down. We will be returning to this hotel again in August.
I have stayed in many amazing top hotels in the world and this hotel ranks up in the top tier! Really a beautiful and clean hotel and amazing service! Great breakfast - variety, the hot food was hot, the cold food is cold.
If you are stuck in a college town during the "Dog Days of Summer" (something mothers who follow their baseball tourney playing kids know a lot about!) this is a great place to stay. Large room and amenities, free breakfast (imagine feeding dozens of teenage boys about to embark on a day's worth of baseball games) Great, friendly staff.... and they EVEN welcome pets! Conveniently located right off the main highway, 5 min from OSU and great college-town restaurants. Our family of 4 (5 if you count our Golden Retriever who went along on this trip) was very comfortable.
We stayed here because it was the top rated hotel in Stillwater on tripadvisor. The staff are excellent and very accommodating. While the property looked pretty newly built, the rooms looked more used. The paint on our door was chipped, the sheets were pilling, and the bathroom while adequately clean wasn't spotless. So... I really hope this is not the best hotel in Stillwater. We will try the Fairfield Inn next month.
