Had to make a business trip and spent a week at the la Quinta in Corsicana. Was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, which is important since there's not a whole lot to do in Corsicana. They could add a few chairs in the rooms. Also, I don't think I've ever had a hotel with a jacuzzi in the sleeping area. However, it is still comfortable and a nice surprise compared to other la quinta hotels I've stayed in.
Thanks for making our daughter's wedding party feel comfortable for the night before
her wedding. Our stay was quiet, breakfast was good and everything went well. The odor
on the first floor was odd but I think that's because of the indoor pool you have there which is nice. Thanks La Quinta!
This hotel is okay for the price, as compared with the other hotels in this town. A plus is that the establishment is relatively new, so all the fixtures are good. However, they STILL do not keep a handyman on duty at night. As a result, if something breaks or does not work properly, there is "nothing you can do". That is what we were told when the phone in our room did not work. I even asked if they could get one from an unoccupied room. They could not!!! My only choice was to have the morning shift person come and knock on my door as a wakeup call or set my alarm clock, OR move to another room. I suppose those were all viable choices, but it just seems that it would be really nice to have someone that could "fix" things at night. Afterall, things DO HAPPEN at night just as easy as they happen during regular working hours.
If asked will I stay here again? YES! Of course! This place is about 25.00 cheaper than the surrounding hotels. It is aggravating sometimes though to have little stuff like this happen.
We stayed here last fall and were pleased. This visit was disappointing. The king sized bed had stains on the sheets, the sofa bed mattress was extremely uncomfortable, and when my daughter took a shower she had to yell out there were no towels.
My family and I traveled down to see family. We picked La Quinta because of the rates and reviews and because of the indoor pool. Lol. When we arrived we were greeted with professionalism yet kindness. It was a quick check in. We gathered our bags and headed in the direction of our room. Our room was amazing. Clean, spacious and welcoming. We loved our stay! We took our toddler down to the indoor pool. It was huge and very clean. We were constantly greeted with friendliness when we would see staff in the hall or in the downstairs are. The breakfast was great and there was so much to choose from. Our family highly recommends this hotel to any others. We will be staying there again! Thank you La Quinta!
