A La Quinta traveler |
While we visited friends in Rochester,NY we stayed in La Quin ta hotel. Very clean,friendly,comfortable and speedy. Great hotel! I certainly would stay there again!
Breakfast had variety and quick service. Check-in and out was speedy and friendly. Staff was very helfull. Rooms are clean Beds were comfortable.
The price was reasonable. The staffs were friendly. I stayed in the main floor and it wasn't noisy at all. The breakfast was included with the price we paid. There were couple choices of cold and hot foods. They also served different choices of drinks.
We stayed from Friday - Sunday as we were attending a wedding in Rochester. I work in the hotel industry as well at a 4 diamond 5 star so wasn't to sure what to expect when we arrived.
I must say I was impressed with the hotel, good customer service, great breakfast that was included in the rate and the rooms were very clean.
We came from Niagara Falls, ON and were quite impressed with the facility - we will definitely be back.
We stayed here overnight on our way to Toronto. it was reasonably easy to find and also also reasonably priced. We wanted a little something for dinner and the pleasant girl at the desk recommended the pizza place next to the motel. The pizza was good. The breakfast had a variety of hot and cold choices. t was very quiet yet convenient to the interstate.
In the morning we walked thru Highland Park where the lilacs were in bloom. This historic Olmstead designed park is a real treat and should not be missed if you are near the city.
We were in town for a wedding. One of the other couples had called and made reservations, but they were misplaced. After literally 30 minutes of negotiating and discussing the very same point over and over with a desk clerk who began by saying they were fully booked, voila! a room appeared but not at the rate it was reserved. There were some issues with our room that were surprising at first; obviously missing furniture as a case in point. The desk did their best to solve those, it developed they were remodeling. It would have been nice if that had been apparent when we booked. There are the basic services you would expect from a lower priced hotel, and nothing more. Room was clean, service beyond the initial melodrama was average. Because of its location, which is convenient to me personally - I grew up in a suburb of Rochester - I intend to try it again. A similar experience and it will be the last.
