I have stayed at LQ in the past and always enjoyed my stay, but this particular LQ and its employees exceeded my expectations. I had hurt my back that morning and the lady at the desk upgraded me to a jacuzzi room to make me feel better. It was wonderful. Great customer service.
Our stay at La Quinta was very nice and refreshing.The room was very clean including the bathroom.The room was roomy, the bed slept wonderfully.It was a Pillowtop mattress and you could tell.It was a very quiet room inspite of the Houston traffic on Interstate right in front of building. Also the breakfast was very delicious with different items on different days.They even had a snack at 5:00pm in the Dining room which was nice with just driving in, before supper.Would stay here again.
We stayed at this hotel one night on our way to Cali. We have 2 small dogs and we love the fact that dogs stay for free at la quinta. This hotel is relatively speaking new. It has a playground and next to it there's a nice size dog park! Yes you read that right. Our dogs loved it!
Our room was clean and spacious. They had a full breakfast in the am and snacks in the evening. Their biz center had pretty new equipment.
My only complain is that we are military so asked for military/fed gov rate. We were given military discount rate which I thought followed the GSA per diem rates. Well, it didn't. The $ difference from the per diem rate wasn't drastic so we decided to stay so, be aware if you are traveling on orders.
Othe than that, good hotel for a short stay.
Overall this was a very nice place to stay. Not only is it pet-friendly, it even has a fenced-in area for dogs to play off-leash. The beds were comfortable and the room was quite large, and there was a very good hot breakfast served in the morning.
I would have given it 5 points, except for the large cockroach that was crawling up the wall. I smashed it, and showed to the clerk at checkout. She could not have cared less.
All staff were friendly. Hotel was clean and bed was comfortable. The room even had a refreshing smell upon entering. We loved the Starbucks coffee bean machine which gave fresh ground coffee. The orange juice was tasty and not watered down. Great variety on the complimentary breakfast. Enjoyed our visit.
