The trip started on a bad note. We were on the second floor and in the middle of our first night the room above us on the fifth floor flooded! Water worked its was down and the leak reached our room! I told the front desk and first thing the maintenance man was in our room and explained the whole situation. They moved us to a different room first thing in the morning! The staff is very professional and our new room was clean and spacious. We will re visit this La Quinta! One really nice thing, they have individual routers for each floor so the Internet signal is strong everywhere in the hotel.

have stayed in many LQs over the past decade...and found this place to be a sorry excuse for a business class hotel. first...the phone in the room DID NOT RING. several incoming calls of significance were missed BECAUSE THE PHONE WOULDN'T RING. how hard is it to allow for a room telephone in a hotel to RING when someone calls? next...no fitness room? i can't say i EVER stayed in a $90./night hotel that didn't have a fitness facility. finally, and that is BEYOND the limited towels and discount store toiletries provided...the room had no closet per-se, rather a wooden wardrobe which CONTAINED NO HANGERS. really...? why would a hotel provide a wardrobe, complete with a hanging bar...AND NO HANGERS? management and staff should put themselves in the position of the traveler...and spend a night in this sorry excuse for a hotel. and LQ corporate should do the same...as i suspect that they would pull their name off of this facility quicker than you could say LaQuinta. looking for a quality place to stay in NMB...look elsewhere. i wish i had...................................

Fans wobble, lights buzzed and flicker. The room smelled mildewy. Carpet stiff, worn, and appeared dirty. Tiles in bathroom broken. Not pleasant at a high price. Only positive was the friendly clerk at the front desk. Won't stay here again.

"Worst room, bad smell, and tried to steal my money"

I booked the room with family. I use a powerwheelchair and tired to book an accessible room the room was to small and everything was old and worn. The whole hotel smelled like pet pee. I asked to cancel my reservation before the cut off time and the person told me she would cancel, but she never did. I never even checked into the hotel, but they tried to charge me for a full night. I went and stayed at the Laquinta on 48th and it was great. Heed the warnings and don't stay that this place. When I called the manager to tell him that I was charged for a night when I never stayed there he was like you have to proof and you are lying. He tried to give me the run around and tell me that I couldn't cancel in person but had to cancel at lq.com, but that isn't what they told me. I reported the hotel to HQ and reported it to my credit card company. The door was still broken like the other guy said and the hotel is pretty far from the beaches and fun of the strip.

"Great Customer Service Mike and Lisa!"

I would like to commend Mike, the manager and Lisa at the front desk. They went out of their way to make sure our stay went smooth. We had booked rooms at another hotel, but that hotel messed up our reservations and only had one room available and not two as I had reserved. We had traveled over 20 hours and were so tired. It was about 3:30 am and raining hard. We left and started down the street asking hotels if rooms were available but they were all sold out! We found the La Quinta and walked in asking for open reservations and Lisa was so kind and understanding. She got us rooms after speaking to her manager Mike and explained our drastic situation. She even offered us breakfast at 4:30 am while our rooms were prepared! Fresh breakfast! This is what makes a hotel! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE and Customer appreciation and understanding! Great job guys!!! If it was up to me, I would give you a plaque for your greatness!!!!
