I would of given this place a better rating had it not been for the noise! The room was nice. It was clean and had everything that we needed. There was a fridge and microwave as well. The problem was that the Hotel was on the same side of the road as the interstate. We really didn't have any idea of this proximity when we were making our reservations. Quick suggestion, if you make reservations here ask for a room as close to the lobby or front of the hotel as possible. I would think that the noise factor would be much less the further away from the interstate as possible would be helpful. Other then this everything was great!

I stayed here for 3 weeks for work. There was not once that I ever had an issue here. Courtney at the front desk bent over backwards to help me more than several times and was an absolute joy to deal with. The rest of the staff is courteous as well. The housekeeping is friendly, as is the breakfast attendant. The rooms are extremely clean and pretty up to date. A nice flat screen is a good thing as well. The place is quiet, the pool is nice, and the location is easy on and off the freeway. The room has very comfortable beds, OUTSTANDING towels, a mini fridge, and microwave, and a desk and all are in perfect working order. The wifi is also fast which is something I often have an issue with but not here. I would be happy and pleased to bring my family here. I couldn't have had a better stay. I wish I could give a higher rating! Thank you!

We had the pleasure of staying at this La Quinta for one night as part of the Utah Valley Marathon event. We chose this hotel mainly for its proximity to the Half Marathon bus pickup area (easy 1 block walk on the East side of the Mall), and for the reasonable room rate we found. Upon check-in, we noticed a cute hand made "Welcome Utah Valley Racers" sign in the lobby. We were also greeted by a cheerful young woman at the front desk who made a point of asking if we were a part of the Marathon. When we answered in the affirmative, she eagerly told us that since they knew that the runners would have to miss their regular free full breakfast (served from 6 am - 9:30 am), the hotel was going to create special "breakfast sacks" for all of the racers. These sacks would be waiting in the lobby for us to pick up beginning at 3:00 am as we made our way out to the buses. Wow! We were just so impressed that they would go out of their way to do that! Sure enough, when we staggered out to the lobby in the wee hours of the morning, there were the sacks stuffed full with fruit, muffin and juice waiting for us! We realized later that they had to purchase special items for those sacks and they spent a lot of extra time packing them and having them all ready. It put a smile on our faces, and made us feel just like our Mom was right there taking care of us! (and, with such a happy start, it's little wonder everyone in our group received Personal Records that day during our runs. One of us even took 3rd place in our age division!) Our guest room at La Quinta was spacious and well appointed. This is certainly not a luxury hotel, so expectations should be kept reasonable. There were several scuffed up base boards, the carpet seemed a bit "tired", our bathroom door stuck when shut, the faucet had a slow drip, and our bathtub had a couple of small chips in it. However, everything was spotlessly clean, the air-conditioning worked great, our sheets were clean and soft and the mattress was very comfortable (for the too-short time we were able to spend in it!!). There was also plenty of hot water with lots of great water pressure waiting for us after the race. In short, this place had ALL the things that mattered!! We were staying here as part of a family group. The younger children travelling with our other family members enjoyed using the large outdoor swimming pool (the adults were a bit disappointed there was not a hot tub) and everyone enjoyed sampling the plentiful free hot cookies that seemed to keep magically appearing at the front desk. This hotel also accommodates pets. There is a green grassy area in the back specifically for fido, which we noticed provided professional-grade doggie bags and garbage bins on-site. We also noticed a decent sized (and strongly air conditioned) fitness room which had some nice equipment, mirrored walls, and free weights along with a flat screen TV. We would have eagerly used this room if we were not already participating in a major fitness event. Each guest room also caters to those travelling on business or extended stays including a fridge, microwave, professional office chair, and large desk. There were 4 power outlets handily built into the desk which made it VERY cool for charging our 2 cell phones + iPad and laptop all at once. The hotel provides FREE in-room wireless and it worked great for us. The speed was fast enough to easily upload photos, check our email, and update our social media sites. We stayed in a ground-level room with a King sized bed and pull-out couch on the north (pool) side. Our family members with children stayed in the same style room next to us. Their two small children slept fine on the pull-out couch and their family felt they had more than enough room so they could enjoy the King sized bed and not have to lug things up and down the stairs (as other reviews have mentioned, there isn't an elevator). TIP: Guests should be aware that the walls in your bathroom are PAPER THIN! Therefore, any conversations you choose to hold in there CAN and WILL be heard by your neighbors. So, if you do not want your neighbors to know about your recurring problem with warts, or how much you hate your father-in-law, then.....) As it turned out, we actually did make it back to the hotel after our race in time to catch the very tail end of the free breakfast. We noted that it includes all the standard free continental breakfast stuff + waffles, but it also includes hot scrambled eggs and bacon - a really nice bonus. The lady who runs the dining area is extremely efficient! She continually cleaned the tables and counters, and she had everything cleaned up and put away promptly at 9:30 am. So, we were lucky to snag a few slices of bacon and pour some batter in the home-made waffle iron before everything disappeared. Travelers will enjoy the large dining area with plenty of seating and cheerful windows. In summary, this hotel has a lot to offer for all those travelling on business or as families. You get a lot of Bang for your Buck staying here! The location is convenient to the freeway, next to a major shopping mall, and very close to downtown Provo. Best of all, this hotel management is extremely customer oriented and demonstrated to us how willing they are to go above and beyond welcoming special groups and accommodating travelers with unusual circumstances. We really appreciate all they did for us to have such a pleasant stay! We definitely plan to stay here again for our future Utah Valley racing events!

This hotel may promote that they're pet friendly, but the staff certainly is NOT! I would recommend staying at one of the La Quintas located in Orem. We decided to only stay one night and transfer to the one in Orem.. glad we did!! Also, the room is a bit outdated & there's no elevator in the building, which makes for hauling luggage a hassle.

Just needed a comfortable overnight stay and this place fit the bill. We actually had a handicapped equipped room so the bathroom was a bit different but no worries. Bed was VERY comfortable and the breakfast was great in the morning. Very clean. Only negative was the vent in the bathroom seemed to go right into the next room and we could hear their conversations quite easily. Made us want to be quiet! Could have been awkward if you know what I mean.
