I have 3 children. One is a recent graduate of RU, one a baseball player at RU, and one an upcoming freshman. For starters, this establishment has gone downhill rapidly. The rooms are never cleaned completely, missing towels, or flat out dirty upon entering. When looking for the manager she can be found outside smoking or arguing with the repair man / her boyfriend. You can tell the staff came from the streets of Radford. They have their children running around day and night and you have to wait long periods of time to be helped. My question: where is Hope? I asked and received two answers: "I get asked that more than any other question" and "probably at the beach." Secondly, where is the owner? My wife has already had a conversation with the baseball coaches because this is the recommended hotel for the team. It's unfortunate this hotel took this route. We have already cancelled all of our upcoming reservations.

Very nice hotel but there was a noise issue when a loud car parked directly next to our window and sounded like it was in the room with us. We could also hear a lot of noise in the hall. They need soundproofing!

La Quinta Inn Radford, VA staff puts us in our favorite room. We don't want you to book that very room, so I won't tell you which one it is. But we do want La Quinta Inn Radford to stay in business, so I will tell you that the price for value is outstanding, the sheets are smooth, the breakfast is simple but satisfying, and my husband likes the coffee. He is very hard to please when it comes to coffee. Has to be good, fresh, and HOT.

We stay at a LaQuinta whenever we can when we travel, if there is one in the area. Staff, service, rooms, breakfast always very satisfactorIy. Rooms are always fresh, lobby and breakfast areas bright and cheerful. We highly recommend LaQuinta.

This is a basic La Quinta that is bright, clean and well maintained. There is a small restaurant downstairs that serves dinner but the food was microwaved and not very good, though the server was pleasant. Still, it was nice not to have to go find a restaurant after a long drive. My real problem was the noise level in the room; I could hear a tv on one side and some boistrous men on the other (at 3 am). I actually doubt that either the tv or the men were all that loud in the general scheme of things; rather, the walls are just very thin and poorly insulated. (By contrast, I thought the windows did a pretty good job of keeping out street noise and for once I had a heat/ac unit that didn't make too much noise cycling on and off.). I called the hotel's front desk and they immediately asked the men to quieten down. While I appreciated their responsiveness, you may not get the restful night's sleep you want if you happen to be next to noisy people. I paid $100 for a two-bedded room, which was the AAA rate and, I thought, a little steep for Radford.
