I had just had a week with pneumonia and my wife and I got away to rest! From check-in to check-out we had a good experience. The room was well appointed and the price was reasonable. I'm looking forward to my next opportunity to travel and stay with La Quinta.
The La Quinta in McKinney Texas is almost brand new. It sparkles. The building finish out is a better quality than most La Quinta Inns. The room furnishings are excellent. Bed was very comfortable. I upgraded to a bat tub with outlets. Well worth it. We asked about nearby restaurants. The staff were very insistent in recommending the place next door, and they were correct. We asked about walking. They suggested it was easy walking distance, but because it was threatening rain, we should drive instead. Again they were correct. We had an early appointment, before the breakfast would be open. The response was "No promises, but we will try." Indeed the breakfast area was open in time for us to grab a bite. Just very pleasant.
This hotel isn't the best laid out or the nicest Laquinta It is new and very clean. Most of all over 4 days I observed a very hard working staff who were friendly and nice all the time. They gave directions, gave dinner suggestions, and really worked hard to make people comfortable. Plus they gave back to the community a portion of their sales to fight cancer.
the hotel was perfect for our group,it was within walking distance to the softball fields.the rooms were clean and roomy.the staff was very accomadating to our group needs.would efinatelty stay there again.
A wonderful option for the usually higher-priced Frisco area. The staff was friendly (all of them!), the rooms quiet and comfortable. We specifically chose the location because of the price (sub-$100 in this area is difficult to find) and the fact they are pet friendly. It is a new location, so everything is still in good to excellent condition. The breakfast options were above average.
The location is still pretty rural, with just a QT and Boston's Pizza close by, but it does reduce traffic noise.
