A La Quinta traveler |
Hotel is right on I-35 (west side). There are numerous business signs in the area, so have to watch for the hotel.
There are several restaurants in the immediate area. If you don't mind crossing under I-35, they are in walking distance. Outlets of Hillsboro offers numerous shopping opportunities, and it is also right across I-35.
If your room faces I-35, there is slight noise once you settle down for the night, but unless you are ultra-sensitive to it, you will quickly be able to tune it out.
Rooms have convenient writing table and a small couch where a person can stretch out and relax (but not sleep on; not big enough).
My only complaints would be small, perhaps picky. There was no TV channel guide in the room; the volume of water coming out of the shower was excessive for my tastes, but probably standard for most hotels. And my room was right next to the elevator; noise was not excessive, but took a bit to figure out what it was and get used to.
Prices are reasonable $71 for one night (senior citizen rate).
Would I stay at the same hotel on my next trip? It's at the top of my list.
Hotel access from I35 was easy. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable of the local area (shopping and restaurants). Pet friendly with no extra charge. We always stay at this hotel chain because of less hassels and therefore more fun time.
girls weekend out was great .we got to the hotel with no problem easy to find, the room was super clean. i usually wear house shoes at hotels but this one was so clean i didnt even think about it. the beds were very comfty over all the whole stay was super...
This is a very nice hotel to spend a weekend. It was nice to be able to bring my mom's small dog with us. The room was nice and I love the comfy beds and large TV. You must try the Fried Pies at the Exxon located on the service road in front of the hotel.

Breakfast was just cereals, bagels, muffins, toast--- no eggs or bacon or anything. We had to cram our 3 kids in 1 of the 2 queen beds because this joint had no sleeper sofas. Not terrible but not that pleasant either. Meh.
