We just recently came from back from a week long vacation in FWB. I am very pleased with our stay here. We initially picked this place because of its location. It's within walking distance to downtown, a quick drive to beach access and the boardwalk that is filled with restaurants, shops, water sports, etc. The reason we will return to this place every time we are in FWB is because of the staff and clean rooms. Very impressed! Great for couples and families!
I spent three nights here in April during a Spring getaway. Though not located on the beach the hotel is very convenient to everything, a perfect place to stay if your looking to explore the area. Staff was very friendly, room was spacious and clean. Free breakfast buffet was more than ample. I would definitely come back.
The one time we goto the beach and it rained every day! So needless to say, we spent a lot of time at the hotel. We didn't have any issues with having our dog there. The room was clean, the beds were super comfortable beds, and we had great water pressure in the shower! We used the small gym which had a treadmill, exercise bike, elliptical machine, and a rack of free weights, pretty much everything you need to do a quick work out. Had the usual breakfast items including egg patties and sausage. Would stay here again!
The LaQuinta Inn & Suites/Ft Walton Beach was a great place to stay. The rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely be willing to stay here again, when visiting this area!!! Great Job LaQuinta and keep up the great service!!!

I was in Fort Walton Beach for a wedding. There were four of us, so we booked a pair of rooms because everything else seemed to be sold out due to Spring Break.
I really can't complain about the place. Front desk folks were friendly and helpful. The room was really clean. I thought my bed was very comfortable. The water was scalding hot, just like I like it. We didn't have much of a view, but since I had come from DC in the dead of winter to Fort Walton Beach and the sunshine, just looking at the sun was good enough for me.
We did enjoy the free breakfast downstairs. I have to say that it's a half step up from the free breakfast they offer at other hotels. La Quinta had strawberries for waffles. Never seen that before. And the coffee was gooooooood.
We stayed two nights, and my friend stayed an extra night because she was having such a good time and didn't want to go home quite yet.
We did not hear any noise, even though the place was packed with Spring Break college kids. I would stay here again.
