I stayed here on my vacation last week for a few nights and was very pleased. Check in was quick and the clerk provided a map showing where my room was.
The room was spacious and had plenty of space for a laptop setup. The free wireless is a real plus.
My room had a fridge and microwave, but I didn't use it.
Another plus is the continental breakfast. Wide selection of fruits, cereals, juices, and a place to make your own waffles. It's all free. If you're going to spend the first part of the morning on thrill rides, eat light. If not, fill up. You'll be doing a lot of walking if you're going to the parks.
There's only one shuttle to Universal, but the place is so close, you won't really need if you're extremely mobile, like me. It's only a 10 minute walk to Universal from the hotel Very convenient!
While this hotel does have vending machines, there's a 7-eleven on the other side of International Drive near the hotel, so you don't have to spend an arm and a leg on a bottle of water.
The only downside I had to this room was that my room was on the second floor. This hotel doesn't have an elevator, so try to get a first floor room if you can. Lugging two suitcases up the stairs was kind of a chore.
Despite that, I would stay here again. Even if it was just for a bed.
If you are traveling with a pet, it is a great hotel. Very clean and quiet! Staff was very helpful in getting my same room that I requested on a return business trip. Also, my Peki, who is 8 lbs thought she was in Pet Heaven!
When your on a vacation if your not happy with the room your staying at, it can ruin the trip. our vacation with my fiancee, and my grandsons ages 3 and 4 was the best! The hotel was so helpful and accommodating. They made sure we had directions to restaurants, attractions, and stores .
The hotel is in a perfect location on International Drive. It is clean and the rooms are very spacious. The king size bed was very comfortable with clean crisp cotton sheets. The staff were all very helpful. For a budget hotel it rates 10/10. On the negative, the breakfast is fairly basic but there is plenty of it.
carpets were very dirty & whoever had cleaned our rooms didn't do a good job at all. The lady at the front desk offered to change our room. There was no tiolet paper no tissues it seemed like the per clean the room started but didn't finish.. Our check in & out was fine. We didn't stay for breakfast.
