A La Quinta traveler |
The staff here are amazing. I managed to mess up my reservations and showed up at the hotel when they were full without a reservation for that day. The young lady at the front desk found my erroneous reservation, cancelled it, and moved some guests yet to arrive around in order to fit me in. The hotel was clean and, despite being obviously very full (Scouting convention?), was very quiet. I will definitely stay here again.
We stayed one night at the Trinidad La Quinta Inn on our way to Santa Fe. The place was beautifully decorated, very clean, and our room was very comfortable. Breakfast was good, average buffet. Staff very friendly. Only downside was a wedding reception right below us that partied loudly until midnight. Seems we should have been warned of this.
Set a new standard for La Quinta! The staff was courteous and the breakfast was special - 4:00-6:00 continental; 6;00-11:00 hot bar with daily special. The option for in-house pizza and hot sandwiches was a welcomed relief from having to go searching for an evening meal; beer selection excellent - they even found some room-temperature bottles at our request!
This hotel was very friendly and very clean, The room was really nice and felt elaborate like a more expensive hotel which made it very pleasant. The bed was soft and comfy and breakfast was good and had plenty of variety and even had gluten-free bread and few things and that was a big help to me as I have a wheat allergy and so that was a pleasant surprise.

First time staying in a La Quinta and it was a fairly good experience. The room was clean with plenty of space to move around. The problem was the cleaning chemicals which left a very strong odor. Unfortunately, an adjoining room had a yippy dog which chose to bark at all times day or night. Had we known "pets were allowed", we might have made other arrangements. The pool and hot tub were useful, but the water temperature needed to be adjusted. The morning breakfast was good for a continental type setup. The hostess Constance was very helpful and made sure everyone was satisfied with the available items. They also offer an evening lounge for drinks and bar food. Pizza, wings, sandwiches, and several other things are available. This is run by an outside vendor, but the food and beverages are very good.
