Needed a place to overnight on a trip from PA to AZ. Wanted a nice place to stay for under $100. Did some research and booked a room here. We received a clean comfortable room (& bed) at a reasonable price. Nice breakfast too. Would definitely stay here again.
The La Quinta in Rockwall was an overall success. The staff was helpful and kind, they really went out of their way to make sure things were comfortable. The TV and room was clean and was what you would expect at this pricepoint. I was happy with everything EXCEPT breakfast. La Quinta makes a big deal about the breakfast and what they serve.
I do NOT think, bisquits, a round piece of yellow egg(?) and gravy constitutes breakfast. It was close, and could have been better.
They did have waffles, and the other standard fare. But it did not live up to the hype presented in their advertising. Soooo, other than that, it is a good hotel....
We needed a place for an extended stay (~2weeks) that was near TX Presby hospital. The La Quinta ended up being perfect for us. The hotel was quiet, the rooms comfortable, the amenities were great, and the location was ideal for what we needed. But most of all, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They took good care of us even though we were high maintenance on this trip. I would definitely stay here again.
I stayed here for a wedding that was on the lake. This was not your typical La Quinta (not that they are bad - they are just usually consistently average - I stay at them all the time). Its cozy and smaller than most, with an incredibly friendly staff and cleaning crew. I had zero issues with my stay, the beds were comfy and the showers were good (this is a regular pet peeve with me). It was very clean and every room has a flat screen tv, microwave, and a fridge. Its also located next to a few good places to eat, including a bbq place. Its very close to the water without paying that price. Great value!
Nice, convenient location. Biggest drawback is the parking for the hotel since it is a small lot and fills up quickly. Breakfast bar had a good display and variety for different tastes. Hot coffee was available prior to the opening of the breakfast bar. I would stay there again.
