We stayed at the pacific beach location. It was aight overall. Check-in went normal and pleasant. Easy to get to room. Wife thought the hallways were dirtier than they should've been, but may have been because of the party weekend on the boardwalk - jus' sayin'. Room was normal. Light by the bed was unplugged, Light by the chair someone had unscrewed the switch so when you went to turn it on the switch fell off and you had to screw it in. fridge was on the min setting so it took awhile for it to cool down, but no biggie - prob a green thing to do or something. For some reason the maint people attached the curved shower rod too far in so the whole point of getting a curved shower rod is to give more room (about six inches in the middle) but they installed it so far into the shower that it was like what was the point - might as well have installed a cheaper straight shower rod further out - minor annoyance. wife thought the coffee sucked and had to throw it out - could've been someone making it that doesn't drink coffee or something, but she def does not like her coffee dorked up when that's all she is having in the morning from the breakfast area, which was a nice big and open area btw although the usual carbaholic fare (cereal, fruit, et al.). wife wanted to get something from the vending machine, but all they had were drinks so that didn't work out for her and she was disappointed. overall for the price it was ok, but we'll try something else next time. it could be a great place for you depending on the room you get of course since i'm sure paying more ends up with a better room and experience, so def consider the hotel, but it will not be our first choice for our next visit.

I have stayed at the property now two times. Good distance from oceanfront and other area attractions. Priced great. Bed was very comfortable. The first room had draining issues and i was promptly moved to another room. Very good front desk service. The waffle maker at breakfast was a plus.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, excellent staff/service, and overall great value. The staff at this hotel really make you feel welcome and go out of their way to provide great service. I cannot say more about the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms. It's a great value.

We only stayed one night, but we surely enjoyed it. the hotel is conveniently located about 10 miles from Virginia Beach and 10 miles form the Chesapeake Bay Beach, away from the tourist chaos. The room was comfortable and clean, although I've found some hair in the tub and on the bathroom floor. Breakfast was not as rich as it usually is at some other LQ (no scrambled eggs or sausages) and at 10am on the clock they started putting everything away. Not a deal breaker though. They let our medium size dog stay for free, so that gets them 1000 points. Overall, definitely a recommended hotel.

Had to travel to the Norfolk area for a funeral, and didn't make reservations ahead of time as I wasn't sure if I would stay in a hotel or with family. Decided to stay in a hotel - check in was easy, staff was VERY pleasant, room was clean and quiet. Has a 24 hour Denny's next door which was nice since we didn't arrive until after 10 pm.
