A La Quinta traveler |
Although this is not one of La Quinta's newer hotels, it is very nice. It has been well-cared for- rooms and grounds are attractive. The employees are courteous and helpful. We always stay in LaQuinta when we travel and have never been disappointed.
Hotel and room was clean, personnel was great, easy check in and out, good free breakfast, next to restaurants, microwave and small fridge in room, right on IH 35, and even called me letting me know I left my personal pillows behind. What else do you need??
Older but well kept and clean, w/micro&fridge & flat screen tv. Josie at the front desk was helpful and the breakfast, while standard continental, was well tended and kept spotless & the dining area was inviting. It's starting to warm up ~ TX in April, but the AC in our room blasted nice cold air. We'd made a reservation and the room was already cooled off before we got there which was great, because sometimes to save $$$ we've noticed some hotels don't keep the rooms cooled and it takes forever to get it cool enough to sleep. Also the bottom sheets were actual fitted sheets which don't come out in the middle of the night :-) The only downside was weak wi-fi signal but noticed it was at full strength in the morning...Great value & we'd definitely stay here again.
My wife and I travel to Kerrvile, Texas a few times a year to visit family. We live in Dallas, Texas and like to break up the trip with a stay at La Quinta. We stayed this time in Temple, Texas and had a wonderful start to our weekend. The room was clean and inviting and the staff welcomed us with warmth and charm. We love our dog and she travels with us always. This pet friendly hotel was extremely clean and she (our dog) had a great time. We have stayed at many La Quinta's over the years and this was our first time at the Temple, Texas one. WE WILL BE BACK! Thanks again for everything!
Best value for my money. Great place to stay when traveling with a pet. Will return ! Great location for there are many places to eat. Comfortable beds and pretty grounds. Front desk very helpful and friendly.
