"NOT A HAPPY CAMPER:-("

I stayed at this hotel over the weekend and I must say the rooms have a very bad smell the carpet is old and dirty with lots of black sports on them the bath tub has black mold around it. We found roaches in the room and when I called front desk to express my issues about our she was very helpful and concerned about our childern staying in this room she moved us to another room that was a little better smell was stilll the same but it was ok she was also nice enough to adjust the price of our room seeing that we was not happy at all. I will most likely not come back here again until they do some serious updating.
PS. I was not the only guess that night who had roaches in the room.
Stay: Beyond terrible!
Clerk: Was great!
The rooms were clean and the staff was cordial. Needs updating inside. Breakfast was sparce. No protein and no fresh fruit. Only one juice available. The pool was not open and it was not listed as seasonal. We were very disappointed.
Just want to say I will never stay at this hotel again in any state, due to the fact the my buddy and his wife were staying in a room when my buddy left the hotel to go to a airport to take care of business, the wife went out with some girl friends and they all had a little to much to drink which is normal for friends everyone does this the hotel was close to the bar and grill, this is where everyone met and friends being friends having a good time, well the wife over slept the next day pass the check out and the husband called the clerk told them he was on his way back to just add the room to his bill he would take care of any thing out standing, the clerk would not do this and hung up on my buddy the clerk called her boss the boss told her to call the cops and have her removed, now here the wife is still intoxicated and cant drive, the police arrive to tell her she has to leave, at the same time im hearing my friend tell them he is10 minutes out hang on, but the clerk was being a rude and was being rude told the police to get rid of her knowing her husband was just 10 minutes at a red light which was just two blocks. not only that he did show up like he said they took his wife to jail for what ????? how can you do this,,,,, I hope you business close's down
Very poor excuse for a hotel.
ROOM 249:
Ants (sugar ants, but still..)
Dirty shower/shower curtain... Black hairs all over the wall and curtain.
Toilet has brown ring in bowl, cracked seat, discolored seat
Sink and vanity were clean
Tile floor has nail polish all over. Took a towel and wiped floor, towel had significant dirt on it.
The bed appeared to have fresh sheets.
The stucco walls are coated with dirt. The area behind night stand is FILTHY.... Used tissues, caps, hair, general dirt. Has probably never been vacuumed behind.
The carpet is dirty and sticky.
BREAKFAST:
The corn flakes had mold in them.
Carton of milk was expired.
There are far better places to stay. Choose one of them.
This was our second time to stay at this hotel. It has a convienent location and is pet friendly. We were in town for a car show in Searcy, so we had our trailer with a car on it. At check-in, the clerk said we could park where ever we wanted, because the back part of the hotel wasn't full. So we pulled in to the parking spots, and sure enough, no one else was on the back side of the hotel at all. On our second night there, we were woken up by the "security guard" beating on the door at 10:00. He made us move our vehicle, because he said a bunch of construction workers were going to be checking in. It didn't make much sense to us, but we moved the truck. At 6:30 the next morning, we looked out, and once again, there wasn't a single vehicle in the back part where we were. When we voiced our aggrevation at being disturbed that late and moving the vehicles for what ended up being no reason , the front desk clerk just said "wow, that sucks".
Up until then, I would have planned on staying again, but now, I think we'll try another hotel.
