This hotel does not provide complimentary access to a local fitness center as it describes in its hotel description online and the reception staff were un apologetic when we asked about this facility. The cell phone signal is really bad in this hotel too.
I had a relaxing stay and the people were very friendly. Breakfast was continental and fair. Hotel was right off Hwy 10 so I had learned to get around easily. Walmart and other shopping/dining is at the next exit. The mall was about 10 miles away but also right off the highway.
Stayed for a couple weeks for work. The hotel area I was in seemed to be for traveling plant workers. The location is great. There are several resturants with-in walking distance. The housekeeping has a little to be desired. They just made my bed instead of changing the sheets several times. Good value however considering the location. Pool didn't get cleaned very often. Would stay again, but I am just here for work. Would go somewhere else if I was on vacation.
We stayed only for one night and had booked a non smoking room but I think someone was smoking in there before and they have tried to get rid of this smell but it didnīt work ....
There was no fridge and microwave in it.
Breakfast was not bad but not really good, no toasts - only bagles and packed pastries, yoghurt, coffee, milk and some fruit.
My boyfriend and I were coming to Baton Rouge for my daughters wedding and she had made special accommodations for us but that hotel did not allow dogs. This turned out to be a real problem until I located LaQunita. Once we arrived we were not only happy they allowed pets but the room was very clean, quite and the hotel staff very accommodating. What a pleasant stay and when we left we decide then and there everytime we return to Baton Rouge this will be the place we will stay. Thanks for a great experience.
