"Desk staff has no knowledge of rooms"

I called to make reservations and said I needed adjoining rooms because my grandmother is having eye surgery. I need to be able to get to her quickly if she needs help. The desk clerk told me she didn't know what rooms are adjoining and that I will just have to show up and gamble on their having any of these rooms to rent. Isn't there some computer program that could give the front desk this information immediately rather than making the staff physically go check out rooms to see if they are adjoining which is what I was told would have to happen.. This would be a very convenient place to stay. I am disappointed that they could give me no information
this was my second stay and it was as good as the last. They are always ready to please and my room is always the perfect location for what i need to have and get done. This room was at second floor which put me super close to the lobby which i surely like. the parking is fine. This hotel puts me right in the center of Little Rock where i can get to the medical center or downtown very quickly.
We stayed at the La Quinta Inn, Little Rock Medical Center Area. This was my last stop on a 10 day vacation. I was very disappointed in the quality of the establishment. The room was dirty, I plugged something in and had to clean the baseboard and electrical off to do it. The tub/shower was mildewed and had pink scum in it. There was no trash receptacle in the room so we had to use the ice bucket for trash. It really makes me think twice on staying at La Quinta again.
For a cheap hotel, it was fine. I take call at a local hospital so I have to stay at a hotel and I don't want to pay a lot. The air worked great. Location was perfect. You do hear some outside noise, but for the most part it was quiet. Management was extremely nice and helpful. I will stay again. Read more
Came out to Little Rock to spend the Memorial Day weekend playing at Wild River water park. I called LQ Saturday morning to find out if I could check in early as I was traveling with my 3-year old and dog and I wanted to check in early so my son could take his afternoon nap in the room. The front desk clerk assured me that they would have a room ready for me if I arrived around 1pm. Of course, I arrived at 1:30pm and no room available and told to come back after 3pm. Grrr. Tried to get my son to take a nap in the car but that didn't happen. Went back to LQ at 2:30pm and room ready. The room was decent and spacious; I always love that they don't reuse bedspreads and use down blankets. Though there were 5 pillows, they were all lumpy and not comfortable. The bed, however, was a pillow top and almost as compfy as mine at home. What I didn't like about room 148 is that the stand to dispose of cigarette butts was a few feet away from our window. I didn't smell any smoke but I could hear people out there chatting it up. Air conditioner was fairly loud when it clicked on and off so my son and I did not sleep very well. Breakfast was decent; LQ always has waffles at every location but they not all have batter for making them fresh...good and bad because if there are a bunch of folks waiting to make their 3 minute waffle, you may just give up like I did one day and just go with cinnamon toast crunch cereal. Decent green space on either side of the hotel for my dog, decent location for restaurants and zoo. Sunday afternoon my room keys stopped working so that was irritating. Went up to the front desk to comment that my keys had only been coded for one night then I get the excuse that it happens a lot. If it happens a lot then maybe the problem needs to be fixed? Overall, undecided it I would stay at this LQ again...
