Someone tried t get into our room twice during the night on our last night. It was very upsetting and the hotel sent a security guard, but no one was found. I guess this is the risk you take with a motel style facility.
Staff was excellent. Bathroom was a little small but overall the room was great. It is an older hotel. Breakfast had a nice variety of different items and plenty of places to sit. I really liked the fact that I put the do not disturb sign out and NO ONE entered our room the whole stay. I exchanged my towels with the cleaning person who offered me all the other things on her cart. I have stayed at other hotels and even with the do not disturb sign out they still go in the room. Close to downtown without the price of a downtown hotel. We will stay here again next time we come. Room was very quiet.
My husband and I have stayed at this La Quinta Inn 4 times and have always been pleased. The only complaint I had this time was the carpet needed to be cleaned, was very stained over and around the table area. We were very pleased with our over all stay and will stay there again.
We had to come to Savannah for the filming of the new Therapy Dog International Test. We brought two dogs with us to be used in making the film and they were welcomed with open arms. When we checked in, the desk clerk went to our room to check that it was clean and ready. The check-in process was painless and we went to our room. Our room was immaculate. The entire process was a good one and I will be happy to use La Quinta Inn again.
Room was clean. It is convenient to shopping restaurants and downtown area. Good value. Nothing fancy, but clean and modern. The continental breakfast was great...lots of choices, plenty of seating and the area was kept clean and well stocked. Friendly staff.
