"Room was clean"

Drove all the way from nj to move my daughter in to the university on aug 15-17 weekend. After a long drive the woman at the front desk had my room ready quickly on a busy weekend and called me to check in early because we had our dog also. The area where the hotel is looks scary and unsafe but my room was clean and smelled good. The breakfast was ok but could of had more options. The milk was warm but the orange juice and waffles were good.

Total Dump! Needs to be remodeled or totally destroyed. The room had a weird smell to it. bedspread had stains on it. The shower curtain had mildew and mold on it. Even the "breakfast" was terrible!! Very disappointed with our stay here!

"Nice hotel, but stay in the rear."

Nice hotel but noise from the interstate is very loud. Stay in the rear of the building. Front desk people are very nice and helpful. Breakfast was ok , but it was something to eat. If I stay here again I will request a room upstairs in the rear of the building.

"Stinky dump"

This motel is the worst place I've ever stayed at, the entry door wouldn't even lock the bathroom light didn't work and the bathtub was black, carpet smell plus dirty and the drapes was awful as well. No one came and clean the room but dropped off one set of dingy towels I had a room with a double beds,, the furniture was the pits drawers wouldn't even close on the dresser the water didn't get hot nor did the water drain out of the sink in the bathroom. I wouldn't recommend this motel no human being probably not a animal either, don't do it you will regret it for sure.

"Safe, clean and value"

It is very safe, clean and worth the money. We needed a hotel to move our daughters into college, with a 2 night stay. Our goal was to have a clean, safe resting place. Most of the rooms were very expensive in other hotels. I used my AAA card and got a great price! While the hotel is older, the room looked as if it had been updated recently! The room was very clean, the beds were not worn out but comfortable with new pillow top mattress; the sheets and bedding and towels were fresh and not stained or worn. The bathroom had two parts, toilet and shower and large sink/dressing area. It was clean, with a shower curtain new, and (best of all) the toilet did not leak or drip! They provided Pantene shampoo and a nice soap. The carpet was not soiled or worn, or mildew. The staff was very professional, and helpful as we arrived in a major rainstorm. I could inspect the room 1st, which is a good thing to get into the habit of doing even at major expensive hotels. The hotel is tucked behind other stores and shops, and truckers stay there - a little out of the way, but close to the 20/59 and other roads to get in/out of town fast. There was a new flat screen TV, with all the channels, a hair dryer and mini coffee maker - all newer and not worn out. The hotel offered a breakfast but we had to get about our day, however. There was a waffle maker, juice and coffee - not just pre-packed breakfast items. There was a pool but it was raining, so no comment. If you are looking for a clean safe room, this is a good value. It does offer any view or extra curb appeal, but it was actually nicer than some of the other hotels - the staff keep this dated jewel well maintained. We would stay there again.
