"Far from clean"

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooms are half cleaned and the property is in need of serious improvements. The bathroom door was coming off the hinges, the tub's "built in" bathmat was dirty causing us to use a towel to stand on while showering. The staff seemed not to care if they helped people or not and don't pay attention to the reservation requests (smoking vs. non-smoking) and got upset when I requested to be moved.

"One of the Worst LaQuinta Inns You Can Imagine"

Don't go here unless you want to totally waste your money. Nasty doesn't even begin to describe this place. If you have allergies for goodness sakes - stay away. There is no such thing as a non smoking room although you will pay for one. They are filthy and in total disrepair.

"Terrible, we left"

This must be one of the OLDEST La Quinta's in the country, this one is the reason we did not stay at a La Quinta for many years. You had to wind your way through two truck parking lots to even get to the motel. The building needed outside maintenance badly. We had reservations for two rooms and after starting the check in process we decided that we did NOT want to stay at this motel. It did not look clean or safe.

"I would rather sleep in my car"

This hotel is obviously a franchise property and not La Quinta corporate. I stayed here about 10 years ago and it was pretty decent then. My mother, daughter and myself stayed here again, last weekend on Friday and Saturday night. Boy, times have changed....or not. I don't think that they have done anything to this property since the last time I was here. There are some SERIOUS potholes leading up to the property. When we arrived, we were required to pay for our entire stay upon check in! They must be renting rooms by the hour? So, not really a good first impresssion. Ok, so we checked into room #1. Immediately went back to the front desk because the stench of cigarettes was overwhelming and dead bolt didn't lock. Room # 2, toilet does not flush, bathroom sink is backed up and dead bolt didn't lock on this either. Once again, overwhelming stench of cigarettes. Room #3, still overwhelming and stale cigarette aroma, dead bolt only partially locked. The attached photo shows the bonus cigarette we found in Room #3, in the bedside table drawer. We were tired of complaining at this point, so we just called it a night and hoped we stayed safe. Stinky, tiny and thin towels. Sticky carpet and rusty bathtub. The bed was comfortable, but it really didn't make up for anything. We were fearful for our safety because of some of the sketchy people we saw. When we returned to the MOTEL on Saturday night, we were locked out of our rooms. Went and got new keycards, still they didn't work! Went BACK to the front desk (keep in mind we were the 2nd to last room on the property so it was a long, dark walk....or run...I insisted at this point the clerk come with me to the room to ensure i was able to get in. Finally, the keycard worked. Looked inside the room and housekeeping didn't make up our room. I was advised at that point that we have to request it, it's not automatic. I should have known. If you decide to actually stay here despite the reviews, take note that when they say the continental breakfast ends at 9, by golly, it ends at 9! At 9 am SHARP, this horrible woman literally busted up in the lobby area chanting "We shut down!, we shut down!" Simultaneously, my 70 year old mother was pouring waffle batter into the waffle iron. This woman then looked at my mother and said, "We shut down!", and UNPLUGGED the waffle iron! With the raw waffle batter in it! I called the corporate Toll Free number on Monday and told this seemingly understanding corporate employee about our situation. Was told that someone in their upper management would be contacting me. I have not been contacted. I am not surprised, but I really don't care anymore either. I promise I wouldn't stay here if the rooms were free.

The worst laquinta I have ever stayed in. The room didn't smell clean. Bathtub was dirty. Trouble getting onto the internet. A few of the staff were very unfriendly. The pool looked very nice and inviting, but it was too cold to take advantage of.
