This hotel was perhaps the dirtiest chain hotel I have ever stayed at. The lobby stank of stale waffles and maple syrup. Boxes were piled in the lobby. The carpet in my room was so filthy I did not want to take my shoes off. The couple staying next to us had two dogs and they would not let them sleep on the dirty floor. At least there were no bed bugs in our room. The staff was pleasant and helpful, but the place could use some repair. A broken stairway was held up by 2x4's and a nylon strap.
The location was only five miles from family and friends. The staff was ALWAYS friendly and helpful. We had our animal companions traveling with us and La Quinta is ABSOLUTELY the most pet friendly hotel in Nashville. We had such a great time in Nashville and will definitely stay at La Quinta the next time we are in town.

I was very impressed with how I was taken care of by this hotel staff, especially with the opportunity I was given to stay in one of your suites when the amenities promised in my reservation were not available at the level of my requested reservation. I really like La Quinta but now I think I am in love! See you soon!
This is my second successful stay here. If you are looking for a clean and budget-friendly place to lay your head at night, this is just right. Close to the city and the colleges, easy on-off highways. Many reviews speak of the railyard noises; I grew up 3 blocks from an elevated subway train in NY, so this is not an problem for me! (rooms facing I-65 makes this less of an issue). Really good basic breakfast foods - hard boiled eggs, toasts, cereals, and waffles - (and clean and neat area) make this an even better deal. This is my go-to place to stay when visiting my college son in Nashville.
made my reservation a 2 to 3 weeks before going out of town and over 9 people plus more maybe got there room sold to someone else. who cares if you gave us a free night or two that does it make it better that you sold our room to someone else that just walked in. the rooms were nice and clean. staff was friendly but still pissed me off that they gave my room away after i made reservations.
