This was our second stop at the Champaign location..our first was 4 years ago. We were as satisfied with everything this visit as our first, In fact, we decided to become a member of the Returns Club and continued on our roadtrip to FL staying in LaQuintas all the way down and back. The room was very clean and comfortable, the bed was comfy, and all services were excellent. We highly recommend LaQuinta Inn for your travel stops.
For the price this hotel cannot be beat. I have stayed here twice now and it gets better each time. This time I had my entire immediate family with me (we had 2 rooms ) and everyone up was pleased. This is half way to visit family in Wisconsin (from Nashville, TN) and it will be our go to stop from now on. Loved it.
This hotel is very easy to find right off the interstate, easy checkin. the beds are the best of anywhere. We always get a room with 2 double beds, and they are so comfortable. it seems like I get 8 hours of sleep in 5 or 6. We usually check in late and get up early. This is the first La Quinta we stayed in and the experience sold us on La Quinta. That is the only hotel chain we use when La Quinta is available.
From the outside the hotel does not look so great, especially on west side where the garbage container is. However, on the inside it is very nice. The rooms have been recently remodeled and it is very nice inside. The outside pool is heated and very clean. The exercise room was great as well. situated on what seems like the north side of town which was great for me and also it was easy to find. Close to a mall and many restaurants including a new pizza place next door called Zac's. It is a pity to put dogs in such a nice hotel. Some wish the dogs were contained to one building apart, as a big dog started barking on my floor at 5h30 AM and am sure he woke up the whole hotel. It went on for an hour.However, people tens to sneak dogs in to hotels and dont always tell the staff that they have a dog.
I stay at LaQuintas they are decent value hotels. The location in Champaign was dirty (my wife insisted that I go buy her some house slippers, the floors were so dirty), the mattresses were uncomfortable and a dog barked in an adjacent room for half the night.
AVOID THIS LOCATION!!!
