If your a fan of cold showers you're in luck. With the hot water being non existent in the morning and 'lacking' the night before this is a terrible example of a cheap motel. Our room wasnt clean with various marks and stains in the toilet that were not your usual wear and tear.
It's a cheap outside entry motel, but there's really no excuse for not cleaning up a room. If only to a "good enough" standard. But this isn't it.
I don't expect the four seasons, but a little hot water in the morning and a cleanish bathroom? Yes,
I expect that.
Good location and place to stop and rest. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. You will find a simple but nice continental breakfast, having all you need to start your day and continue your trip, a good coffee and maybe some waffles.
We came down to Abilene for a UIL Academics competition for high schools.The front desk personnel, mainly Jacob, was amazing and the stay was great. Jacob had an amazing personality and we felt like we were right at home in this hotel. Jacob was extremely personable and helped us with everything we needed. Definitely enjoyed the stay and would recommend this La Quinta to anyone who is looking for a place to stay.
My wife & I were in Abilene for the wedding of one of our nieces. This hotel is clean, a great value for the price, easy to get to and easy to get to and from downtown. In fact the whole groom's party stayed here as well. And also a friend of the bride's father. Maybe we should have had the wedding at the motel. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in Abilene.

Have an early Medical procedure at Hendricks? Stay here the night before and easily get to your appointment on time.
This inn has easy access to the north side medical and scholastic complex of Abilene. You will be AOK if you follow the map and instructions given by LaQuinta. It is clean, comfortable and surprisingly quiet for an inn this close to the Interstate. Rooms are just a bit smaller than I am used to at LaQuinta, but still they truly meet a traveler's needs.
