I thought I was staying in a hotel 15-20 years old. The tub was raised as a cheap way to upgrade I guess . Bed was very comfy and quiet even though hotel was pretty filled up.
Desk chair was cheap looking, no extra outlets for gadgets.
My suggestion is to upgrade to modern items
Needs more tables in Free Beakfast area. Curtains need to be replaced or repaired in room 114. Room was quiet and cool. Bathtub was a little dangerous... Too high step up and down. Was on an easy access road. Room was very clean and smelled nice. We would stay there again if the need arises.
Was in Texas City and stayed two nights. Room was good and staff was great i would recommend this to any military soldier also not to far from Galveston.breakfast wasnt nothing special but better than contiental breakfast.i would diffently stay here again

I called ahead as I had read some negative reviews. We were assured that this hotel was nice and our rooms would be also. The staff was right. We will definitely be back. We arrived late in the evening and the entrance and flower beds were beautiful. Our rooms were very nice and clean, beds so comfortable, and air conditioner worked great Hot waffles and fruit for breakfast started our day out before heading to Galveston. Nice start for a Mother's Day celebration.
Clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Only I minor issue. You had to step up to get into the tub. The step down, with wet feet is a bit tricky for us older folks. So make sure you put a towel on the floor before getting out. Otherwise . . . perfect! Also, only a 10 minute drive to the beach on Seawall Blvd.
