This hotel is not what La Quinta Inn's usually look like. I needed a first floor room and they didn't have any. I asked for an elevator so I could take my heavy luggage to my second floor room but they didn't have a working elevator and no one on the staff offered to help me. The room was big but in bad shape. The headboard was falling off the bed. The toilet tank had several cracks in it. The toilet had a hair on it. The toilet did not flush properly. The bathroom fan did not work. The bathroom door did not close but instead got stuck in the door jam. The door frame was cracked and falling apart. The walkway leading to the hotel room was cracking. The hotel front desk clerk did not give me her full attention during check in because a housekeeper was at the front desk speaking to her about her personal problems in life. I was told no non-smoking rooms were left even though I reserved one. Then all of sudden, one appeared in their system. I wanted to speak to the staff about all these issues but at check out the front desk clerk didn't even bother to ask how my stay was. This is a horrible hotel and I would never recommend anyone to stay here. Many other choices in Houston. Will not return.

Stained, very very dirty, not safe and overall just horrible. Don't stay here - it really is bad. Not like any other la Quinta I stayed at in my life. Horrible. Dog poop, condoms, dirty lingerie scattered all over the room. I doubt they EVER do anything about their horrible carpets. I'm seriously concerned about my cats. I have to stay here only few hours and I can't wait to get out of here.

This place is a dump........by the looks of it. We stayed here for the memorial day weekend. I think it was in the neighborhood of 50 bucks per night. Can't beat that. The mattress and the pillows were amazing for some odd reason. Our rooms were small and cozy and while never seeing a soul on the premises, our rooms were made up after we left for the day. I would stay here again and again, but honestly - don't expect much. There are many rooms and even a pool, but we stayed on the other end of this INN so, forgot about the pool. If you are not looking for star-treatment - THIS IS A PLACE FOR YOU.

We stay at this hotel on May 3rd, 2013 for 2 nite horrible....... Management needs to get training for staff....... dont get the room reserved 3weeks prior to arriving....Than the AKA manager called Houston PD just becausse i was questioning my room wow....... PEOPLE DONT STAY HERE..... CALL THE MAIN OFFICE AND UNTIL THIS DAY NO HAS CALLED OR EMAIL ME BACK......

Hello travelers, I read some of the reviews posted for this La Quinta and I have to say I did not have any of the same problems. Maybe they have cleaned things up since those reviews were posted, so I will tell about my stay. They are right off the I10 and either direction you go on ten there was plenty of places to eat and shop. The mall was within 3-5 miles of the hotel. A Denny's was right next to it and a cafe type eatery in front and Mc Donalds across the street with a couple of service stations on the same corner. There was plenty of parking and was able to park my car in front my door. I would say the lighting to the lot was good. Housekeeping made sure I had the supplies every day I never had to track anyone down and ask. The bedding was fresh at check in and my room was clean. I felt comfortable and safe and would stay again when I return to Houston. My all time FAVORITE people was Oscar and Eddie who made sure I was having a great stay each day. I was always greeted with a smile and had good laughs with Oscar and Eddie every day. The whole La Quinta staff at the Willcrest location was great and I thank them for welcoming me.
