Hello travelers, I read some of the reviews posted for this La Quinta and I have to say I did not have any of the same problems. Maybe they have cleaned things up since those reviews were posted, so I will tell about my stay. They are right off the I10 and either direction you go on ten there was plenty of places to eat and shop. The mall was within 3-5 miles of the hotel. A Denny's was right next to it and a cafe type eatery in front and Mc Donalds across the street with a couple of service stations on the same corner. There was plenty of parking and was able to park my car in front my door. I would say the lighting to the lot was good. Housekeeping made sure I had the supplies every day I never had to track anyone down and ask. The bedding was fresh at check in and my room was clean. I felt comfortable and safe and would stay again when I return to Houston. My all time FAVORITE people was Oscar and Eddie who made sure I was having a great stay each day. I was always greeted with a smile and had good laughs with Oscar and Eddie every day. The whole La Quinta staff at the Willcrest location was great and I thank them for welcoming me. Dont stay here. Of my 30 years of corporate travel, this is the worse location of any branded hotel I have experienced. If my arrival would have been earlier than 1am, I would have left and paid double somewhere else. This is the cheapest in this area but it is not worth it. It is dirty everywhere, even the lobby. The parking lot is dark...eerie and filled with security cameras. The stains on the carpet are moist and dont even look behind the night stand. Drive one more mile west on I-10 and find other hotels including another LaQuinta that are much nicer. Shame on LaQuinta for allowing this place to stay open.

We took a large group of people to stay at this hotel. My experience was negative: super-dirty, unclean sheets/beds, no one vacuumed the room. Some of our people got bitten by fleas. My kids developed a bad allergy reaction to this place. First day we stayed, sheets were dirty (it looked like someone vomited on the bed). No one vacuum the room my kids stayed at. I had to take my daughter to emergency care and peditrician due to staying at this place. Next door to our room one guest had too many dogs/pets in the hotel.

Good Wifi. Quiet location. Property old and tired. The room was generally clean except the dead Roach on the carpet. Bed comfortable and clean.but carpets and upholstery dirty and stained in places Would not stay here again. Plenty of other motels to choose from near this location.

Room was disgusting. Carpet terribly stained and not vaccumed. Sheets and covers very dirty with grease and sweat marks. Blood on wall near headboard. Non smoking room filled with cigarette smell (strong) all furniture and drapes. Air uptake in bathroom filled with stain and discolored soot dust or fuzz. TV had something smeared on screen. Microwave smelled of burnt popcorn. Night attendant that came to inspect room didnt even offer to switch rooms even after finding out in the morning that there were plenty of rooms available.
