The front desk staff were exceptional. Very fast and friendly. We would stay there again. The night clerk recommended a wonderful restaurant within a few blocks. The breakfast room was clean and well stocked.
We stayed at the Wenatchee La Quinta on our way back home from a trip to the gorge. We were tired and not expecting much, but were pleasantly surprised by the fantastic staff, the large, clean, well laid out room and the quiet. It was a great stay. Upon arriving home a few days later we realized we'd left a personal item behind, figured it was a lost cause, but sent a message asking if it was there- not 12 hours later we received a phone call saying it was being put in the mail for us.
The La Quinta staff in Wenatchee are great folks, I'd recommend this place.
2 queen beds, one horrible, one below standard but we slept on it. Room layout odd-why set up a room of two beds with only a desk chair? Breakfast was junk, nothing hot except hot water, and coffee through spigots in the wall. Save your money discontinue breakfast and buy decent beds, offer decent coffee, like single serve Kuerigs. This stay reinforced my future desire never to stay at this type of hotel again, and even though la Quinta in butte, mo was good, I'm sure all others are equally dismal. Way below acceptable for the industry.
I always count on LaQuinta and the one in Wenatchee is a particularly well placed choice for me in particular as I travel between western Washington and eastern Washington. Close to Levenworth and great restaurants. Easy on and off highway. Very clean and well maintained. Windows open for fresh air. A big plus for those of us who hate sealed rooms with airconditioned stale air. My preferred motel chain no matter where I travel in the West.
I was expecting scrambled eggs and sausage (nada), a fitness room (nada), and a quiet night (nada.) Should I ever attend the Apple Blossom festival again, I'll book a downtown hotel. $120 was wayyyy too much to pay for this place.
