"Staff is wonderful, facilities ok."

Stayed here in late August for two nights. We stayed on the "200" level floor which I guess is the same level as the lobby. We stayed near the breakfast area and heard a lot of noise all day/night with nearby doors closing and lobby foot traffic entering and leaving the hotel. I guess that would be standard, so I would suggest asking for a room away from the lobby or upstairs if you plan to stay here. Our air conditioning unit rattled like crazy all night but sometimes that's also "normal" for some hotels. The bathroom shower knob was a little grungy, but other than that everything else was clean. The facilities are a tad older feeling but all in all it was fine and moderately priced compared to the other/newer/fancier hotels in the area. The staff here is incredibly nice and very helpful with directions and suggestions for food/etc. The location is fine as it is just a few minutes away from downtown and the Old Mill district. Basically, anything in Bend seems like a few quick minutes of driving away. This hotel isn't the closest to the action, but I believe that's also why it is a beat cheaper. Not sure if I'd stay here in again if I was in the area, but maybe depending on the rates. I would make sure to ask for an upstairs room next time if in the area.

"Nothing memorable."

Stayed here one night on 8/20 for $140. Bend wasn't a destination, just an overnight stop. This was recommended by a friend. Hotel is older, but seems to be well kept up. Breakfast was fine. Overall seemed a little little on the high side.Road noise was kept out with the windows shut.

"Yikes!! Sticker Shock!!"

I guess I am cheap, but $180 a night is a lot of money to pay for a motel in Bend, Oregon. But, then, I am aware it has become quite a destination spot the last several years. I usually stay at Comfort Inn and the Bend location was priced the same. Several reviewers has said this is an old facility, but my room looked and smelled brand spanking new. It was a King suite and was very small. Great TV and a comprehensible remote and WiFi. A Motel Six bathroom, however, would look luxurious compared to this small and very plain facility. What struck me was that the hardware was chrome, gold and brushed aluminum in one space...don't know who the finishes scheduler was. The breakfast was standard fare. Staff was quite nice. This is located on a rather nondescript section of US. 97. I did not find anything other than fast food joints. I wished I had ventured further east into Bend and found that Comfort Inn.

"Not what I expected, old and run down!"
2 of 5 stars Reviewed Aug 15, 2014

The hotel appeared to be decent from the outside and lobby area, but I was surprised with an outdated room that was run down and dirty. The room smelled like an old folks home, had dead bugs on the floor and stuck to the curtains, the toilet was old and faded, and the floor of the bath tub was dirty. The door even looked like it had been kicked in at some point. The TV stand had holes in it that were filled with an epoxy that didn't even match the color of the stand. I'm not trying to be too nit picky, but just goes to show the hotels effort level. As for the staff, they were friendly and check in/out went smoothly. Overall I was disappointed with my stay at this location; tried finding another hotel in the area to change over to, but they were all booked full. I will not be staying at this hotel again.

Don't judge a book by its cover; this hotel looks decent from the outside and lobby, but my room was disgusting. There were dead bugs on the floor and stuck to the curtains, the toilet seat was old and faded, the bath tub had a ring of dirt in it, and it smelled like an old folks home. Very dissatisfied with my stay and the rate I was charged for these type of accommodations. I will not be retuning to this hotel.
