"Nice, standard La Quinta."

Nice hotel. A good jumping off spot to southern Utah or southern Colorado. Nice, well kept hotel, with good rooms. No funny smells. Nice staff, and a nice breakfast. Good value for the money. We did have trouble getting our Ipad to work on the hotel WiFi, I don't know if it was a problem on the Ipad or hotel end. Laptop seemed to work fine.
We started our trip to Farmington booked into the travelodge down the road. After spending a few hours there and fearing for our lives in what can only be described as a crack den, we came to the Laquinta late that evening. The staff were so helpful and pleasant and quickly organised our stay. The rooms are immaculate, decent size and even have work desk. Swimming pool looks amazing and the whole place feels so friendly with a pleasant atmosphere. Fully recommend to anybody!!
We just needed a one night stop while traveling through New Mexico. The La Quinta is easy to access in Farmington. It is an older property but well taken care of and a very reasonable price. My only concern would be older people or people with limited mobility make sure you get a room on the ground floor. There is no direct access to the 2nd floor rooms and you will make many trips up and down stairs to get to your room and car. The front desk was very efficient and friendly and the room was immaculate. I would definitely stay there again. The breakfast was good and well-stocked.
We've stayed in several LQ recently, but this one is more along the lines of a roach motel. It seems like a trucker stop, and I wouldn't stay here again, especially with children. We arrived late at night, and there were transients pacing throughout the parking lot. The person at the front desk didn't even get up from their stool to greet or assist us. The entire place just seemed sleazy, and the King room that we booked felt the same. We didn't pay much attention to the cleanliness of the room when we fell asleep, but when we awoke the next morning, it was quite clear that the room was downright disgusting. Boogers were on the wall near the entry door, and the armchair had multiple stains on it. The room was so gross, that we opted to skip showers and just got out! When we checked out & I commented on the filthiness of the room, the woman at the desk seemed surprised and offered additional LQ reward points. Points? I'm not sure points alone are sufficient for the quality of this stay. Had I known that this LQ would be so horrible, I would have continued to drive through the night!
Catherine checked me in and found me a room with a fridge at no extra charge. Rooms are basic but are a good value. The room met all my needs and I have no complaints. Basic continental breakfast is included with room charge.
