"Overall not bad"

We stayed for one night and I chose this hotel based on other reviews. Price was not bad and when I made the reservation, they gave me a rollaway bed (king size bed in room) for my son for nothing. The bed was very comfortable (best hotel bed and pillows I've ever used). The hotel is aging, but room was nice. When we got there, there was a large group of persons in their 20's arguing and the front desk took care of it immediately (we couldn't hear them while in our room). My only complaint was the beetles - they were everywhere! The bugs came in from outside (we had 2 in our room) but I would definitely stay again. The breakfast wasn't bad (just skip the coffee - it was weak) but overall, not bad.
Our stay at LQ Tyler was very enjoyable. We met other family members there and the staff was always happy to assist us in every way. They made every effort to accommodate us in any way we asked. We had a great stay there.
My family and dogs stayed for 1-night while relocating to the Tyler area. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family. Clean, comfortable, good location, safe and a good overall value for the money.
I was helped beyond my expectations!! I arrived tired & with a broken ankle. The night staff helped me in every possible way. GREATEST EXPERIENCE I have ever had at any 'Q' I have stayed at & from any of the other hotels in Tyler,TX.
Older hotel with outside entrances but very clean & well kept. Enormous pool area & nicely landscaped. Would stay here again! Variety of breakfast choices, even waffles & muffins---very comfy beds! The bathroom area is a little outdated but clean. Rooms are well insulated because I could not hear any noise from the other rooms & we were on the bottom floor.
