"Desperate need of renovation"

Hotel was room was not very clean, dust everywhere and the bathroom was working but the tub was sight to see. I would never stay here again. For the price it was definitely not worth $180/night. Literally slept in the clothes I came in and got up early and left without taking a shower.

"Not worth the money!!"

To far from interstate, not worth the money. But they take dogs. Never again Iaquinta! I have stayed in a laquinta before and again wasn't happy. They bathtub had some nastiness in it, they room was awkward and plane. I mean for $130.00 a night I expect a lot better!! And like a previous review stated it is more of a Motel than a Hotel! And not in a good part of town. Passed 3 cops on the way to the hotel in one block range. Happy I carry!!

"Stay Away"

When I checked in the clerk asked me why i wasn't staying at the "other" hotel. The bathroom was full of mold, the room was dusty, and the breakfast food was not edible. I booked using Southwest Airlines and also complained to Southwest, who basically stated it was not their problem.

"Please read this review before you stay at this (m)otel"
1 of 5 stars Reviewed Jan 28, 2014

Listen, I don't write reviews for hotels\motels. Period. I just don't have time. But sometimes (I think this is my 2nd hotel review and I am 40)... an establishment leaves an impression and I feel compelled to relay this impression to the rest of the world. So, here we go: I came to Midland for business and the week I was to go turned out to be a busy week for hotels, so the pickings were slim. I found a La Quinta and decided that it would probably be fine for a few days instead of the Double Tree I normally stayed at. The outside of the (m)otel was in decent shape... not great, but not bad either. The inside was terrible. Ok, ok, the beds looked ok, sheets and blankets looked clean. Outside of that, this is what you've heard to as a flea-bag motel. After carefully dropping my bags in a table to go use the bathroom, I sat down and was DRIPPED on from the light fixture above! There was a drip landing on the toilet seat from the fixture and had been leaking for some time (I could tell by the blackened hole with missing chunks in the ceiling tile! The drip was often and persistent. It dripped about once per 10 seconds. So, not only was it dripping, but it had been dripping for a long, long time... with no one caring to fix it so that we weary travelers wouldn't have to worry about it. The fixtures in the tub for running (dripping) and all of the amenities in the room were kind of nasty. So, let me recap: I went to the front desk and checked in with the girl wearing the Satanic ring on her finger (very welcoming), went into the nasty room, called my company's travel booking company and asked to relocated. She said to take the key back up front and I would not be charged since I was there maybe 20 minutes (all the while talking with agency to find a better room on a Sunday evening). I returned the key and went to Odessa to the Fairfield Inn (285% better (H)otel!!!). BUT... here is the kicker: (You ready?!?!?!?) the room was $190+\night! You heard me right... $190+ per freaking night! This (m)otel would be pushing the boundaries of common sense at $40]night! What a joke. Lastly... they charged my credit card anyway for one night's stay!! Unbelievable! Now, I called mgmt. and the lady (no, not Satan lady) was very nice and took off the charge but told me that there was a note saying that I stayed in the room for 45 minutes and that that was the reason I was charged. Even with my shot record being all up to date... I would never had stayed there that long. Too risky. Please avoid this (m)otel at ALL costs... especially at the cost of $190+\night!

"worst ever"

A La Quinta traveler |
The room we stayed in was FILTHY! The bathroom was disgusting as were the carpets. My sister in law and myself were traveling with our dog and I am unsure if we were given such a filthy room because of that. If we were it is not only degrading but also despicable. When we booked the room with La Quinta we were under the impression that the service and room would have been better quality, especially for the price of $204.00 (with tax). We are so disappointed with your hotel, that we will never stay in one again. My suggestion to your company is to start cleaning and renovating as soon as possible.
