A La Quinta traveler |
The property is very convenient, right off the Sherman exit, close to downtown and across the street from Michael D's, a great place for Breakfast and Lunch. From here you can easily go to the downtown area with its galleries and shops. And of course the Lake.
This was my first trip to the area. The location was good for my trip. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Easy to get to shops and restaurants and my business appointment. I would probably stay there again if I am back in the area.
Enjoyed our stay! It's away from the main shopping/food areas but just a 5 minute drive up the I-90 to get to the shopping/food areas. Quiet at night. Breakfast consists of waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit, bagels, toast, hard-boiled eggs, pastries (not the greatest), juice and coffee.
I have stayed here twice and have tried several other hotels in Couer D Alene area. Got to say that for the price it is a great stay. The staff is very nice and accommodating! Honestly recommend over resort. For price rooms are a better value!
The lobby area and hallway all the way to the other end where the outside door exit is. Needs to have a better flow if air control, as it's always hot through there.
We've stayed and have visited others that have stayed at this location before, and it's been this way for at least 2-3 years now.
We really appreciated the hotel making special arrangements, to start breakfast an hour earlier than normal. I asked the gentleman on Saturday evening about breakfast time for Sunday too, since there were Soccer teams there that would be up early for a morning game. He said that, he would leave a note for the other person to setup an hour early to accommodate for it. I was really happy about that.
Other than that, we feel it's a decent otherwise.
