Stayed here for the Eugene Marathon. Very busy but very clean, quiet hotel. Rooms are basic but clean & comfortable. Beds are really comfortable. Customer Service was excellent. Free Parking. Easy to get around. Nice park close by. Exceeded my expectations as this was my first stay at any La Quinta.

Of all the La Quintas we've stayed at, this one absolutely tops the list! As usual, the quality as service was excellent but this one seemed more "upper tier" than some of the others. I highly recommend this location if you are traveling to Eugene or traveling through Eugene on the way to somewhere else.

Hi, This was a wonderful place to stay on our way to the Portland VA. The area is nice, by a park and river. It was quiet and the bed was wonderful. The check in area was very welcoming and comfortable with the big fire place and sitting area. The breakfast was very nice. Did not get to try the pool and gym but they appeared nice as well. Nice hotel, everything clean as expected. Just be careful understanding how to get around Eugene. The river running through town makes it tricky to enter and exit this hotel. Overall very satisfied. Being able to walk across the parking lot to Alton Baker Park is really a nice bonus. Also, great location if you're attending a Ducks football game. I say all of this as a UW Husky. Go Dawgs!

I stayed at La Quinta Inn & Suites in Eugene OR for a friend's wedding. It was one of a few the couple had with family and friend rates. I stayed in room 228. The Good: The room I had was very spacious for one person. It had a big screen tv, a mini fridge, and was overall very clean. There's individual room climate control, but you need a room key to set your preferences. Breakfast is included, but it's generally of the light continental kind, with cereals, a waffle maker, toast and such. There is free wifi. The front desk will give you a word code. The staff are very friendly and happy to help you. One had a cute lab puppy behind the desk. The Meh Breakfast food is no frills, unless the waffle maker still impresses you, which is really the only 'hot' food item offered. That and the grits. If you miss it you're not missing much. The hotel is right across from a big park. You can walk to the Saturday Markets and Oakland Center Mall but ideally it's better to have a rental car to take advantage of the no sales tax shopping in Eugene. Locals' (i.e. front desk staff) conception of walking distance and directions do not match the reality (!) Be sure to wear comfortable shoes if you do trek out. The hotel could do with some local maps to distribute and direct visitors to amenities nearby. I had to use my cell phone in conjunction with their directions to find my way to the mall and the markets. The Bad My window view was of the BMW maintenance shop behind the hotel. Be sure to close the blinds when you change or else the mechanics will have entertainment on their breaks. For a new-ish hotel I was disappointed with the meagre toiletries provided (a small square soap & tiny bottle of shampoo). I guess this is good for environmental conservation, but if you come here, make sure you bring your own stuff or else pick up some inexpensively at the local drug stores. There is no main overhead light in bedroom, so that when the sun sets in the evening, you will need to use the side table lights to light the room.
