I have just spent 11 nights at this hotel and I am very pleased! I will come back again. The staff have been great, but I want to especially thank Rodney, Brandi and Fran. I asked the 12 university students also staying here with me what their impressions were of our stay and one said, "Just awesome. They always ask you how you're doing." Another said, "They are always smiling and are very welcoming!" Due to our lengthy stay, we got to know these staff very well. If we needed anything (extra room keys, towels, etc.) they were quick to get them. One night in the lobby while students were working, they were asked if they needed anything - coffee, water, etc. Brandi always greeted me by name and she would call the students "Sweetheart" or "Beautiful" (they loved it). Fran, the breakfast person, would keep us updated on the weather and helped me find the closest grocery store. Rodney fixed amazing coffee (actually 3 different kinds each with a special label). The food was great! Rodney also took care of little details with a personal touch. We were all very impressed by the kindnesses shown over these two weeks. As I said before, I'll be back!

I normally stay at a less expensive chain because I'm cheap, but the local one had a terrible problem with the linens smelling of stale smoke, in spite of being smoke-free. I discovered La Quinta Glendale by accident and have continued at this location whenever I need to be in Milwaukee. Just up the street is a La Quinta with add'l amenities, but it is more expensive too and I don't need an exercise room (or maybe it's a pool). Glendale is clean and quiet, and the La Quinta beds are very comfy. You get amenities like hair blower and iron and I usually can get a 2- double bed room for $65. PLUS, they have a delicious breakfast included! I will continue to stay at this La Quinta whenever I am in Milwaukee. I rated the hotel at "4" only because there are terrible potholes which need to be fixed and I did think that my pillowcase smelled like stale smoke this trip. I've never before noticed that and I usually bring my own pillow, only because I need a thin one. The beds and pillows are very comfortable! This La Quinta is also near a big mall, lots of other stores, and has easy access to the highways. It has been very convenient for my needs. I would definitely recommend it!!!

The hotel doesn't have amenities like a restaurant, an exercise room, or a pool, but the rooms are clean and the hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. For the price, it was great. I expect to be going back to Milwaukee more often, and I have no reason to look for anywhere else.

The gentleman who checked me in was extremely pleasant upon my arrival and during the check-in process. He was very friendly and helpful in giving me directions to the local stores I asked about. The hotel is located in an industrial area and is not in the greatest of neighborhoods, but it is in between two expressway ramps so no matter which direction you go, you have on ramp access. Also, it is located about a mile from Bayshore Mall, Starbucks, Carabu Coffee, gas stations, fast food places and plenty of ATMs. The room was large, clean and quiet. The bed had plenty of pillows. Thermostat worked fine, the curtains kept out the morning sunlight. Breakfast options were limited, but for a continental breakfast it wasn't too bad. They had a waffle maker which was a nice touch. For the price of the room, the easy interstate access, close to shopping, and the staff friendliness I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!
