"Great hotel but a bit pricey"

Guest room was great. Nice clean sheets, smelled good. Fresh feel in the room. Everything was amazing. Good view of the Busch gardens haha-- that was a plus. Close to everything!-- many restaurants near by. Great super location. Definitely would stay there again. The only thing was that when we went into the bathroom, we found a dirty towel on the floor. :/ other than that everything was good.
"Nothing special compared to similarly priced hotels"

I travel a lot and La Quinta is a good deal, but doesn't really stand out from it's compeditors. The breakfast was continental (bagels, muffins etc) and the other amenities were as expected (A 12x14ft room used as a "gym" consisting of a single tred mill and pedal bike and an average size pool) and the staff at this location was friendly and helped when asked, but did not seem to go the extra mile.
The WiFi was free, but slow and connectivity in the rooms on the 3rd floor was spotty.
Rooms were clean. Beds were firm and noise from the traffic on the main road was minimal.
All in all I would say spend the extra $10 and go to a brand one notch up on the scale.
We needed a night to stay until we were to depart on a Cruise Ship the next day. We really enjoyed our overnight stay. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We never saw any bugs in the room. The breakfast was fine. We made our own waffles and enjoyed the TV in the breakfast room. Check in and out was great and we would stay here again if needed.

Great Place. Very clean and beds are amazing. Allow pets which was nice since we were moving to the area. Breakfast was not good. Need more selection like muffins not just toast and bagels and waffels
I'm glad I read the reviews here before I went to stay at this hotel. Most of them are true. This building is very old, some of the folks who stay here are sketchy! I used earned 2 nights stay on a points system, and thought about paying for an additional 2 nights, but chose to go to another hotel. I'm so glad I did. Room was mostly clean, however the furniture is from 1972 AND was moldy damaged! I even took a picture of it, because I couldn't believe a hotel room would have nasty furniture. There is enough space underneath the door for an animal to crawl under. The toilet also has a permanent stain. Also the storage room next door was always left open all hours of the night. Next year I will either stay elsewhere or pay for a decent clean room!
