Had a very nice stay at this La Quinta. Nice & safe location but the area closes down around 10pm. About 20 minutes from downtown Nashville. The only complaint I had was there was a drunk kid in the hallways causing some problems. I didn't care too much because I like to drink and have been there before but he was peeing in between the pop machine & ice machine. I decided to rat him out because I frequented this area. This was on a Wednesday night & by Saturday the dirty towels & "caution wet" cone were still there!! Very gross because I knew what had been soaked up in these towel. I feel this was an isolated situation and a lapse I the cleaning crew. Other than this had a good experience at this La Quinta.
They advertise both on the website and with a banner on the front of the building when you arrive"newly remodeled rooms". Room 332 looked OK when we entered at 9:00pm. When I sat on the edge of 1 of the 2 beds in the room then stood up my clothes were covered in white animal fur. On closer inspection of the bed there was human hair in the bed & on the pillows.The sheets had not been changed. Contacting the front desk they asked if I wanted housekeeping to come change the bed! DAH...What a stupid question. I should have checked the room further, I would have demanded a new room! When we went to use the shower the bottom of the tub was so bent out of shape water was standing in the bottom and rusty water was pooled around the drain. Instead of replacing the tub they have covered the bottom of the tub with an adhesive mat as a quick fix. When checking out and commenting on the condition of our room they didn't seem concerned. When I requested a customer satisfaction card they said they don't have them anymore!
To be honest, Great customer service. "Sara" and "Ja" are an awesome group. I have never -EVEN AT OPRY LAND HOTEL have I seen such a great team. The room was nice and cleaned. Upon checking in I discussed having housekeeping do a through cleaning every two days as I was staying 10 nights. And guess what....my room was cleaned how I asked. I did have a small problem working my air conditioner but that was my fault not theirs. The morning front desk lady was more concerned with her tablet than my directions. Other that that, awesome stay. Great breakfast.
Room was small. Mold all on bath tub/shower and floors were dirty. Ssid something to front desk and she acted like I wasn't there. Never stayed at a hotel where house keeping in cleaning at 10:00pm (or lack of)
I had booked for 1 week, however, I decided to come one day early, so I had to change rooms on the second day. The first room was "fair" but the sink stopper did not hold water. The carpet was dirty, and the tub mat was loose, torn and old. Door to room did not close tightly (still locked) but It still let alot of noise in, it was just "adequate". The second room I had was much improved. Ironically, the door here was also not tight fitting. This room did not have a safe and refrig like the first one, which was a little inconvenient. Room much cleaner, newly painted etc. clean carpet, over all quite nice. I believe that" one gets what one pays for" and being honest it was sorth $85.00 but would not be worth over a hundred, wh ich is what I pay for Holiday Inn etc. which certainly have more amenities. The continental breakfast was quite nice. All in all, it was a pleasant experience and I joined ":LaQuinta returns" and plan to stay there again.
