"Nice and Clean, Good Stay."

Clean hotel and clean room. Was easy to find. Wish I had booked ahead of time online to save a few dollars but stay was good. They accommodated our puppy and moved us to a first floor room. Thankful for that. Always a good stay at these hotels.

"Needs Cleaning & Renovation Now"
2 of 5 stars Reviewed Jul 15, 2014

Stayed 2 nights this past weekend with family and 2 small dogs. LQ needs to air the entire hotel out. The carpet in both the room and hallways has a permanent "musty" odor, much like wet dog. This is a pet-friendly hotel and the odor is NOT pet-related. Rather, I believe it has to do with humidity and a less than efficient AC system. Also, our room and a friend's room both were showing their age. Bathrooms in particular were old and had cracked caulking and dirty bathtubs. I also found a couple of bugs (not roaches, though, thank goodness!) in the room and promptly disposed of them. Most frustrating: I reserved 2 rooms, side by side, to accommodate a family stay. I specifically spoke with a LQ Reservations agent who assured me I would have 2 adjacent non-smoking rooms; I had to reserve 2 suites to do this but I was okay with that. Upon check-in, however, I was notified a guest had overstayed and therefore my 2nd room was not available. I was offered a smoking room on the other side of the hotel; I refused because that 2nd room was for my teenage children and I was not going to be separated from them. I explained my position and my confirmation by the reservations clerk but was still told, "Sorry, there's nothing we can do." I disagree. I have extended my stay at other hotels many times and was told I would have to change rooms in order to satisfy another guest's reservations; and I did so without complaint because that's how a reservation works. We crammed the family into 1 room, cancelled the 2nd room and stayed our 2 nights out of necessity; none of the other hotels nearby had vacancies. If I could have found another hotel, I would have done so immediately. The positives: Clean breakfast area, clean pool and pool area, secure pool area, safe and secure grounds, pet-friendly with plenty of areas for dogs to do their business, friendly and courteous front desk staff. The hotel's location, its proximity to major sites and highways, and ease of access from I-40 is definitely a plus. Also, I noted hotel shuttle service to the airport, another plus. But this particular hotel needs updating beginning with the odor and cleanliness of rooms and hallways. And La Quinta needs to review its Reservations policy to ensure its guests are given what they're promised and what they pay for. I've stayed at other LQs without any complaints but I was disappointed with this hotel.

"Great for the Nashville Airport"

We live a couple hours from Nashville but always use the airport when we travel. This motel is perfect for staying the night before a flight out. Perfect location with easy access to the airport and parking options. The staff are always friendly and the rooms are clean with all the amenities. Breakfast is convenient and good to start off the day. If you need a motel near the Nashville Airport, this one is a great value.

Our company has direct bill with them and I stay in La Quinta very month some were in Alabama, Tn , Fl, NC and SC Always friendly and courteous some properties better than others. I have to say check in here was a nightmare front end staff are very rude The lady was name Brenda that checked me in and acted like she could care less if I stay here. The next 2 months I will be back in Tn every other week for 4 nights a week and I promise you I will not be staying at this property. The bad thing is this is a corporate property and you would think there standards would be high than others.
