Our experience was a great one at the La Quina. The gentleman at the desk when we arrived was most helpful. The rooms were clean and we received exta towels when we ask for them. The location was within walking distance of the mall. We loved our stay there. We will certainly stay there again.

The "5" rating takes into account the price. The only issues I had with the stay were ones that it would be unreasonable to expect to change for the price range. I have stayed at another hotel nearby at a bit over 50% higher price, but it was not 50% better quality. The staff is courteous, the rooms were good, the AC worked. The place was clean and the rooms comfortable. There were times when there was more than a single desk person could handle as well as one might like, but since most of the time there was no need for more staff, at least as far as I can see, it would be next to impossible to staff for those odd times when they are in the weeds. We have stayed here before and the staff have always handled any situation professionally. Things to note. The sign for the hotel is on the frontage road and the hotel is behind a couple of restaurants. you must turn bfore the sign or you will end up cutting through parking lots to double back. There is another La Quinta nearby on McCain Blvd. (this one is on Warden), and both are near McCain Mall. This one is slightly nicer, though not a lot. Apparently we are not the only folk to get reservations mixed up. There are hard boiled eggs at breakfast, then waffles, instant hot cereal(I think) and toasted stuff are the only hot breakfast. There is fruit, muffins, cold cereal and yoghourt round off the breakfast. If you want a fancier one, the hotel up the street will charge you $40-$60 more for some bacon and scrambled eggs. IHOP is just across the parking lot so you can walk.

I love this LQ in Little Rock. The service, rooms and location are fantastic! I stay many nights nights away from home and I always choose LQ at McCain for my stays in the Little Rock area. The staff are the most friendly out of every place I've stayed throughout Arkansas. The rooms are always clean, fresh and fully stocked. I love the outdoor pool and fitness room as well. If you're traveling to the area THIS is the place to stay!

We have stayed here several times and have always been pleased with this location. The beds are heavenly! This location is close to major interstate, shops and restaurants. Very good quality and value for the price.

My only concern was the first impression of the smoke smell in the lobby. I was really worried our room would smell of smoke too, but it did NOT. It didn't smell at all. Really nice beds and everything was clean and everything worked in the room. The clerks were great too. They need to get a better filter system for the lobby area but other than that, it's a great hotel in a great area. I wish they would make all hotels smoke free.
