Front-desk staff was friendly and accommodating when I checked in around 7:30 pm. However, room did not meet expectations.
When I checked out a day ahead of schedule this morning, I handed the front-desk clerk a list of eight deficiencies. I was disappointed not to receive an apology. She only said, "Did you report these when you checked in?" I had not, because I doubted they had staff available to answer all the deficiencies at that hour, and I did not discover all of them immediately upon check-in. My list of deficiencies included
1) Dried blood on the wall beside the toilet and several scuff marks on the walls of the bathroom and room (try using a "Mr. Clean Scrubbing Sponge to remove scuff marks).
2) Bathtub that did not drain properly. I had to prop a bar of soap under the drain to ensure the bathtub drained all the way. It made terrible noises, otherwise.
3) Hem was out in sheer curtains on window. Also, curtains were not properly attached to rod. So depressing.
4) Deadbolt lock did not work. Although front-desk clerk argued with me about this at check-out, I know deadbolt did not operate properly...even when door was open...in Room 434. I'm staying at the La Quinta Crabtree in Raleigh tonight, and their deadbolts work as expected.
5) Refrigerator was dead. It was hot inside.
6) No ashtrays in my "smoking room." Front-desk clerk was nice enough to bring me her one and only ashtray.
PLEASE try the La Quinta across the street, instead. The one at 1001 Hospitality Ct

The hotel offered a shuttle , available computers with printers, breakfast and a staff that went above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and appreciated. I rate this hotel on a scale from 1-10 a solid 10,000
Impressively CLEAN bathrooms, Staff is genuinely helpful and friendly. Very convenient location. All in all well worth rhe money, which was a very good value. Breakfaat was very nice. .......................
La Quinta RDU Airport S is our standard stay when we are traveling to and from RDU. The property is always clean; the staff is always friendly, and the courtesy bus is a great help in getting to and from the airport in record time and with minimum fuss. The complimentary breakfast is adequate for people about to travel, and the inclusion of healthy choices like yogurt is appreciated.
First time in a LaQuinta hotel and it was wonderful! Great fresh room, friendly staff, breakfast good too! I will definitely be back! It's at a great location too; even though it was near the airport, we never heard any planes overhead. I don't know why I haven't stayed here before!
