A La Quinta traveler |
I experienced excellent service from the staff. I really liked the room, it was pretty clean and comfortable. The TV sound was sketchy. If I tried to watch TV, every few minutes the sound would stop for like a second which got a bit annoying sometimes. The location was good, since it was very close to where I needed to be. However, we heard a few sirens since it was near a highway and police station. Overall, that did not bother us at all. The bagels could have been fresher, I was a little disappointed with the breakfast, but the waffles were very good and I'm not a waffle person.

Fast check in. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel needs updating especially the elevator. My room was an executive. Room needed updating but was clean and comfortable. Bed was excellent. 2 HD TV's with NO HD channels. In room fridge and microwave. Didn't notice any noise from adjacent rooms. The price I paid was very reasonable. If I had paid any more I would have rated this hotel 2 star. Bob Evans is next to the hotel but is very busy. McDonald's is across the street. WiFi signal was very strong but the speed was terrible. Continental breakfast was very basic and the tiny breakfast room is always busy.
The grounds were great for walking the dogs. The rooms had enough space to set up the crates and to move around. No pet deposit was wonderful, so it was a good value. 1st timer and from now on I will look for a La Quinta when I travel! Thanks!
The staff was very friendly and helpful. That was the only thing good about this hotel. We booked it for 2 nights but only stayed for one. The rooms stunk so bad since they were smoking rooms and nothing else was available even though I booked 3 weeks in advance. Even when you walked in the front door of the hotel you could smell the stench of stale smoke. All hotels in the area were sold out so we didn't have a choice but to stay the first night. There were dirty socks under one bed and crumbs in the other. Never again, and I felt bad for the ladies at the front desk. My guess is this isn't the first time they have had to apologize profusely.

Both my arrival and check-out were fast and professional. The room was excellent; clean and cool; remember Florida was already very hot. A most pleasant experience. Definitely will always stay at La Quinta if available at my destination
