Would like to see better choices for breakfast with more fruits and healthy choices. Nice stay and great staff. It was quiet for being next to a busy highway. Location was near great food locations also like the Great Dane and the Hudson Diner. Was easy getting to the hospital from this location. Room was clean and met all my needs.
We stopped here for the night on our way up to North Wisconsin, and it was a nice place. Small free breakfast not as deluxe as at Madison WI La Quinta, but still good. Friendly staff. Rooms were average and clean. Good place to stay for the night.
Staff were outstanding. Everyone was helpful and friendly during our month-long stay while my mom was in the hospital. Their support made a trying time easier. Highly recommend. Rooms were well-maintained and clean, free breakfast offered a nice variety (chocolate muffin was great!). Indoor pool wasn't very warm but hot tub was nice.
We stayed on 4/20 for a youth bowling tournament. The hotel is nice and clean for an older property, and the staff was great. Especially Tom...we had neighbors in the next room that were more than loud...they were wrestling and banging on our shared wall so bad it was shaking our beds. When I had enough and went to the front desk to complain, Tom had already spoken to these people and warned them that if they didn't stop, the Wausau Police would escort them off the property. Well, when I came down...that was it. Tom called the Police and had it handled. These jerks were drunk and argumentative. I was thankful that it was handled. Unfortunately I only got two hours of sleep that night, and had to get up at 6...Tom was very apologetic about that, but it wasn't his fault. I would definitely stay there again if I was in the area. I rated the rooms and sleep quality based on my experience...
we love the hotel just wish they had more chanels for the tv we would stay there again at a laquinta inn if you need a down stairs you need to ask but ask if you want to have a mikeawave or refrige then ask them for one it is a nice place to stay we will stay there again wether it be in state or out of state we just love it but i think they need to put in a water slide in the pool spot so the kids have more fun at the pool
